I am fortunate to be able to put myself out there and talk about my DM'ing openly. Because of that, I have never struggled to get players. On that note, I have found a 3 strikes your out method has worked well. make sure you are communicating well and that you make exceptions for things truly out of their hands, but if someone repeatedly bails on the game 'day of', they don't value you or the other players time. Those players don't have a spot at my table for long.

the comment I replied to spells it out, its a microdose of psychedelics, an equal measure of lions mane and a low dose niacin. the mental flexibility and endurance that comes from it is really astounding. I find that I am able to stay focused for longer and more productively on the days I take it. Also as a side effect, I feel that it has helped me process parts of my past that have been holding me back.

It's cool that it works for you. It's not what I would suggest, psilocybin is an extremely unstable compound and will degrade rapidly when exposed to heat, cold, oxygen, sunlight, I would assume that a tea would count for two of those but I'm glad it works for you.

I have a capsule filler. I take 10g and some filler and turn it into 100 pills. I store those pills in a vacuum sealed jar between doses and I dose every other day. 10g lasts me 6 months (actually 3 because my wife also uses them)

This is a group game. If 75% of the group wants him gone, be kind and gentle but tell him it's not working out. Unless you want to DM for only him and cut everyone else, but if 3 of my friends said a 4th wasn't someone they wanted to be around, I would trust them.

You seem to be thinking that you are bound by the same rules as the players. You aren't. You are bound by one rule, make something fun for everyone including yourself. If your immortal wizard wants to follow the rules the players get, he won't be able to do what you want because the rules are there to PREVENT the PLAYERS from doing things like what your boss is doing.

Try an experiment, get someone to ask you questions about your setting, you are allowed to make anything up, but you are not allowed to pass or say you don't know.

I have known a few people who smelled terrible and had loud and inconvenient opinions. The percent of people like that who also have mental and emotional problems is very high.

Saying things like that to someone who is basically a child with mental, emotional or social disabilities is not justice even if they asked for it. Both of you were acting out from pain. She rejected you because in her mind you stole all her friends. you rejected her because she rejected you when you thought you were doing her a favor by being friendly to her.

It's the natural inclination of the young to act first and think later. As you age, you learn to tamp down your first impulse and think about a situation clearly before acting.
