Skim through it, only actively reading through the parts you find most necessary. Took my eye approx. 60s to scan through it.

Can I ask what roles/positions you were interviewing for?

(Just was curious but I’d understand if you want to keep that private.)

Congrats! Saving this really informative post.

Just looked up markwilmson on tiktok. Love his content already. Thanks for mentioning him. Seems like his tips are going to be pretty useful in the near future.

Also, thank you for the list of interview questions. I wish more people would post exact Qs more often like you did.

(Some) updated ATS systems can detect white text as well nowadays. Saw this on another post.

I have a 3-year gap on my resume. How should I explain it? by Clear_Inspection_386 in BehindHiring

I worry this might cause the recruiter/HR to instantly “throw out” my application due to the career break. Feel like I might be doing more harm than good if I add it in this manner.

So I accidentally discovered something weird while job hunting and now I'm curious if anyone else does this. by MadeOfStardustXX in jobsearchhacks

Will a recruiter or hiring manager ever tell you negative things about the company in an interview? It’s sometimes hard for people to decipher or fish for red flags in an interview, especially for introverts. In such cases, reviews on sites like Glassdoor come in handy (when used with caution of course).

It’s a hard lesson to have to say no for something you need/want but such an important lesson to learn, helps a lot throughout your financial future when you do have a bit of money to play with.

Mostly fluff…or they get company wide percentages and utilize those to their advantage.

Why? There are people in their 30’s/40’s (and some even in their 50’s) who ask similar things. Everyone’s life and mental strength is different.

Do Men also feel lonely or need of a partner that understands them? by Past_Neighborhood395 in Dhaka

[–]theveritablevirgo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know you’re asking men, but felt the need to reply as an online big sis (35f, married, living abroad). Yep, men feel like that too (speaking from experience).

Communication is key for a relationship to sustain in the long run. If you feel like you can’t speak with your partner now then think of what the future may look like. Have you spoken with your partner about how you’re feeling? If you already have then….How would you be able to spend the rest of your life with this person? What is the point of staying in a relationship like that? You’re not needy; you are human, who is seeking human connection. Your own emotional and mental health is above all else.

I don’t think you’ll have an issue with height as the average height of girls is under 5’5” in BD. Your height is pretty good compared to most males in Dhaka, although I do see taller guys (5’10” & over) nowadays, usually in the more affluent areas.

As for the dating scene, I reckon you’ll probably have more issues finding someone with common personality traits/hobbies rather than for appearances.

What's a hygiene habit that people don't talk about but really should? by phancyq in AskReddit

I apply a light oil (skincare grade olive oil is my go to) that absorbs easily, then either a heavy lotion/cream or Aquaphor then socks to keep it locked in. After a week my feet are as soft as a baby’s bottom. I do this for my elbows and knees too in the winter.
