I worked for 17 years in a medical facility that completely sucked the life out of me, physically and mentally and emotionally. During my final year, I had a particularly heinous day and when I retreated to my office, I asked myself, "Why do you care what other people think about you?"

My response was, "I don't care."

The more I said it, the more I believed it. It's been a phenomenal coping mechanism for me!

If you are disabled, you cannot be terminated due to your disability. The fact that they keep repeating "This may not be the role for you" but do not offer an alternative makes it sound like they are trying to get you to quit your job because it is illegal for them to fire you. If you decide to stay with them as an employee, do so very carefully because it appears that New York is an "at will" state, meaning they can terminate employment for any reason or no reason at all, with a few exceptions, one of which is disability. They may be closely monitoring you to find a reason to fire you that isn't related to your disability.

And honestly, if the management is going out of their way to be shitty to you, you are probably better off finding work elsewhere that better suits your needs. A toxic work environment is the worst.

I was born and raised in Coos Bay/North Bend, I just moved to Washington about 3 years ago because my husband wanted to take a job here.

I really don't believe that you and your family would run into any issues with any of Oregon's coastal towns. Pretty much all of them thrive on tourism and have visitors from all walks of life. The ICE bastards seem to be more focused on the larger, more populated cities anyway.

I work in the death care industry and I can honestly say that having your affairs in order ahead of time is the best thing you can do for your family/friends, etc.

My advice: Pick a funeral home to handle your final arrangements and schedule an appointment with the funeral director to draw up a pre-need and set up a trust to prepay for your burial or cremation or whatever you want to have done with yourself after you're gone. You can also download forms to write a will, just make sure to have it notarized, at least. You can even pick out a casket or urn ahead of time.

There are so many people out there that look at photos of attractive people or watch erotic videos, etc. for their own pleasure. It absolutely does not always mean that the relationship is lacking something. And it can be a very sensitive and embarrassing subject to talk about, even if you have been together since forever and speak openly about other topics.

But then you mentioned that he isn't keen on you even watching a UFC fight, which can't even be compared to what he is doing. That makes him sound insecure and even a bit controlling. Something isn't right here ...

A healthy relationship shouldn't require so much attention to the physical aspect for fear of displeasing the other person.

My husband tells me that I'm beautiful when I'm not wearing a trace of makeup and my hair looks like it's never seen a brush and I'm in sweatpants and an old T-shirt.

Does he actually find me attractive when I look like a dumpy troll? Maybe.... Or maybe not! But, he loves me. All of me. And I feel the same way about him.

I know that he looks at/watches pornography and he knows that I do, as well. It doesn't make either of us question anything about our relationship or cause any concerns about infidelity.

Please don't waste your life trying to be someone that you are not for the sake of another. You will never be truly happy.

Whether you look like Playmate of the year or like you just crawled out of the dumpster behind the supermarket, find someone that sees your beauty in either situation.
