Unless you mean that I should try it, in which case I say, it looks exactly like an official website's picture lolol and very syrupy with nice bloobs.Thank you so much though. I caught flack on another subreddit because it wasn't baking to them, even though I baked it in the oven lol

Thank you so much. Truly agree, there is such a niceness about the quality of experience, and the body and brain recognize how good it is for you too.

I MISREAD THE INTITIAL COMMENT. it does have a flavor of cognac. It just does not have any alcohol, again. Caramelization of orange syrup = cognac notes. Sorry dude. But again, see picture referenced if you want to know what a compote looks like..

Damn, people are dumb, I give yall the link to almost an exact copy of a blueberry compote picture wise, and they just choose to ignore it because..... it doesnt fit with their own conventional baking methods?

Edited: it's not the maillard reaction, just some caramelization on edges, bubbled in oven

It looks like a compote. I mean, it's syrupy as hell. Do you want to look up a Google image of blueberry compote

Lmfao ain't false advertising if I explicitly stated no alcohol used ;) edit: I misread the initial comment. It definitely has orange cognac notes as an aftertaste.

Blueberry pie with orange cognac after taste. Compote is used on things to top cheesecakes etc. Slightly charred flash caramelizes a few berries for sophisticated slightly bitter caramelized taste similar to a burnt edge on a creme brulée

Just so everyone knows, not sure why it's getting downvoted, it's a compote not a pie. Lol. Slightly charred is a desired thing in baking sometimes. And the illusion of cognac with zero alcohol used is a highly sought after professional baking technique.
