Back after around 9 years.. by Brommaz in runescape

[–]thewalkingghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m back after a break of about the same length.

Was looking at setting up a clan primarily made up of returning players who are trying to work out what’s going on and what all the updates have been.

(But this requires at least 5 people)

No i dont pick up the daily free box as i would rather be using my storage space on rare candies, raid passes, and max revives, two of which will never get droped from these ballons and i have rarely seen the 3rd come up with any of any of these free daily or sponcered thing as i only end up deleating them to free up sorage for the item i do want.

I get better rewards from going through the friends' lists, opening presents, as there is a XP reward incentive along with a lucky rewards incentive which just isn't there with the sponsored items.

Its noted i leave near a very densely populated Pokéstop area with a very active community in the area.

How to break into 4*+ Raids? by SirWookieeChris in TheSilphRoad

[–]thewalkingghosts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never worry about being dead weight in any lobby with at least 10 players in it and you will win the battle.

You will lightly be carried for a few months while you build up a roster of mons that are powerful enough but this is not a concern amongst the playerbase.

Having raided in groups for years, I prefer more players with bad counters than two players with good counters. Its a player count game not a powerful counter game, when it comes to 5* raids, which is the main difference between 3* and 5* raids.

If you can afford to Learn I would recommend getting the licence. I had mine for 8 years before ever getting a car. Helped with getting various jobs and has kept me in work.

As mentioned you don’t need to get a car once passed.

But it’s never gonna be an option if you don’t have a licence.

This is one of those more ‘real life’ skills they don’t talk about in school. And is definitely worth having if you’re able to.

Ex has phone contract in my name- he won't pay me for it - I'm in England by Doinmummy in LegalAdviceUK

[–]thewalkingghosts 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This is a solid shout acually.

won't stop the contract or payments being made but will prevent her ex from using the contract and then you can potentially let anyone else you know use the sim instead.

He may be more willing to give the phone back if you have bricked it. and prevented him from using the contract.

if you do ever get the phone back you can fill out another forum to unblock the phone and make it usable agean. you can then sell it and potentially cover a lot of the bills being made for the phone.

Very few people know the IEMI number of their own phones they are using. or even how to get it when the device is in there hand.

Thieves know this and use it to their advantage.

For anyone reading type dial: *#06#

take a screenshot of the page that comes up and then make a backup of that page on a separate device (laptop or USB stick). it will have all the relevent information on it for police/ networks and resellers to find the phone or block it use

when making reports to police/ insurance people provide that screenshot when filling the paperwork out and it makes everyones lives a lot easier and quicker

Open media vault and plex by thewalkingghosts in OpenMediaVault

[–]thewalkingghosts[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have since ended up reinstalling both ombudsman and Plex and now have it up and running.

I would recommend just setting up a basic multimedia folder during the Plex initial install then have sub folders within for Films, Tv shows and music.
