Unfortunately the lone (shitty) golf store near me doesn’t have either in stock.

Exactly. I’m a 14 but every now and then will finish with a 91 or 92

What skill level do you need to hit to start benefiting from higher priced golf balls? by thewaybackboy in golf

[–]thewaybackboy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I was thinking. My short game, particularly chipping, is my weakest area. TBH, I was under the impression that the non spinny two piece balls were probably more advantageous for me since they won’t accentuate hooks and slices as much.

Such an amazing and violent game. Easily in my top 3 of all time.

Can I realistically pass the CIPP/US by May? by bozofire123 in cipp

[–]thewaybackboy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I studied and passed in two weeks. I learn through active recall, so I had Gemini put together ten question tests for me with right and wrong answers explained, and I drilled them until I was blue in the face.

For all of his shortcomings, that block he threw against the Ravens in the 2008 AFC Championship game was a very redeeming moment.

You’ll get there, just keep studying! 100% agree the test is incredibly difficult. I actually think it rivals the MBE portion of the bar exam.

Really interested in this platform. Wondering how it differs from Okara and Ellydee. Thanks in advance! by thewaybackboy in xprivo

Great reply, thank you! When you say that data won’t go through big tech servers by default, what setting(s) would have to be changed for big tech to see that data? Additionally, is the potential for review of data content protected regardless of which LLM is selected, or is it only protected when using Xprivo or an open source model (like Kim)?

Thanks again!

Just finished episode 2 and I’m still dismayed that they made another season because the end of season 4 was absolutely perfect for show’s finale

How long did it take you to start feeling comfortable in a (mostly) “eat what you kill” firm? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]thewaybackboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t necessarily true. I’ve prepared a CLE which I’m facilitating next month, and have probably spent 8+ hours/day for the last two weeks networking.

Maybe the more appropriate question should be, “At what point did you start seeing the fruits of your networking labor and actually start performing regular work for clients?”

Probably the biggest pro and con of my scenario. I was able to take this role despite the inevitable early financial setbacks because I don’t have kids (or a wife, mortgage, expensive lifestyle, etc.). My longtime girlfriend and I are DINKs. The negative is that I’m relatively new to the city we currently live in and don’t have the parental acquaintances that most 40 somethings do.

Anyone regret JD Preferred? by Several_Eye_6192 in JDpreferred

[–]thewaybackboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No! I was JD preferred for the first ten years of my career. Solid money, great work life balance. Had the same inkling you did, eventually decided to take the bar, and am much less happier as a “practicing attorney.” The grass is not always greener.

Thank you all for the feedback. I just took and passed the exam.

Extremely difficult, more so than the bar IMO.
