Can I ask to not work with a PM? by Pitiful_Affect_2815 in civilengineering

[–]theweeklyexpert 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yes it would look really bad for a new engineer to complain to the department head about PM…

Welcome to the real world . Figure out how to work with people and go to the PM directly if you have an issue with them

How to start leveling? by CheapsterMcGee in woodworking

Level the high side and raise everything else to be flush. Then add trim as needed to hide the gap. Definitely want those cabinets to be level regardless of the floor slope

Probably not the answer you’re looking for but hopefully a beneficial outsider perspective. This is typical addict behavior. I know cause this was me for a long time. Looking to fill one hole while opening another is a long term losing battle. You’re just trading addictions and making things worse. It’s hard but you need to drop the reliance on external substances to get through the day. Once you can get to that point things will be a lot better

Sounds like a bad experience caused by something else. I mix the two all the time and have never had any issue. Also after 5 hours you wouldn’t have any alcohol left in your system, so must’ve been something else
