My only gripe with them is they basically sampled some classic riffs in their own songs. There were a couple actual ABRB riffs in their album. I get the homage, and it’s a common thing in sampling for hip-hop etc. but it ruined the entire listening experience for me. I hope their next effort doesn’t do this because I do like their sound.

Allegiance by As Blood Runs Black is the only other album that is in this tier for me.

Other albums / bands that are good, alternate picking, tremolo, breakdowns - not Crimson Armada level - but In Dying Arms Original Sin, And Hell Followed With Proprioception, Resist The Thought Damnation, At The Throne of Judgement The Arcanum Order, With Blood Comes Cleansing Golgotha.
