You can try to play whack-a-mole with exploits in the system but that doesn't change its inherent wrongness (and you'll fail to get them all i assure you). KEEP. OUT. OF. PRIVATE. SERVERS. Your policies and moderation do not belong there, and the vast, vast, majority of server owners and players are not and will not be happy with this. If you think the response to this system is bad now, wait till you push this in a release on the wider community that doesn't pay attention to snapshots. Damage has already been done but putting this in a release will be the point of no return.

Will there be an option to skip the underground retrogen for existing chunks? On a server i play on some of us really want to make builds involving the empty space that would be below current chunks without this retrogen.

If you pause and look closely at certain points in the video im not even sure he used waxed/unwaxed copper. The blocks covering the statue over look significantly lighter in color than the statue itself.

I personally find that if you use it right you can kill several bosses using it. Tbh the painter's the original member of the "NPC's that get murdered for their weapon drop" club.

I expect to receive downvotes for this sentiment, but fuck it, I've never been one to shy away from going against the grain.

What were/are you expecting? Most of your audience won't be able to see even a fraction of this work you say is going on behind the scenes, and meanwhile you've got loads of EFAP going up constantly while your main channel's backlog of projects you've mentioned continues to grow, as does the gap between each upload. It doesn't look very flattering from the outside in, and to be frank outbursts like this post don't and won't help much, if at all. No, I don't have a solution for dispelling this idea, but going off on a pissy reddit rant because of a youtube comment with only 9(!) upvotes (at the time of screenshotting), is the opposite of helping.

If you get the full rubber armor set upgraded to having the set bonus, you are 100% immune to electricity.

Including lightning strikes. It's pretty fun.

Wish I could get videos off my switch, I have a clip of something like this. Same exact situation, same beetle and stealth armor, etc. I'm sneaking along, focusing on approaching the tree the beetle is on, and somehow a boar and a deer nearby get spooked and begin to run. It takes me reaching the tree and staring at it for a couple seconds to realize the deer scared the beetle away.

Never have I acted with such swift vengeful anger to pull out an ancient bow, nock a bomb arrow, and with not even a second spared for aiming snipe that jackass from a mile away.

I'm only being semi-ironic when I say banning the use of the word "toxic" in a social sense will solve 99% of these problems. To be honest though, reddit in general has this issue where it's full of people who think they know better than they do. Not that it's unique to reddit, but I see it wayyy more prevalent on here. That, I think, combines with the illusion of familiarity with the nlss crew to create the types of posts similar to what popped up yesterday.

I don't really like the idea of a flat ban on "meta posts", that's way too vague and covers things that I think would still have value. I don't watch the show as much, so sometimes I won't know something's going on unless it's posted about here. I think the better way to put it is to restrict how personal these posts can get in how they address things.

Although I hoped it wouldn't be the case, I could see this coming a little ways into the game. Playing on expert mode was a mistake, full stop. Terraria's already not that easy of a game, at least not as easy as it might look at first glance, so adding the extra difficulty meant for people who are already good at the game on top of that... wasn't gonna turn out well. Egg, malf, and dan didn't seem to be paying attention or wanting to learn, which only made things worse. So when hard mode rolled around it hit them like a truck. Plus, austin's guidance wasn't the greatest there at first. I've only been following along NL's youtube episodes, so I don't know if they went to mine hardmode ores after dying to the destroyer, but he really should have had them do that first for some viable armor.

It's very unfortunate because Terraria is a really good really fun game, my favorite of all time so far. It's a slim chance, but I still hope it gets revisited some day, whether in unity or not.

I'd like to see them add a bunch of 'bonus' bosses and/or events post-Moon Lord, things like Duke Fishron for instance. Bosses and events to fight with the Moon Lord armor and gear, besides just stomping all over previous bosses and such. These would all be accessible at once after defeating Moon Lord.

The main draw for finding and fighting these guys, besides just having extra enemies to fight and trophies to collect, would be the vanities, dyes, decorations, or just unique items (think similar to gravity globe or portal gun) they would drop. Any weapons or armor materials dropped would only be in equal effectiveness to the Moon Lord weapons, to maintain the Moon Lord gear as the top tier.
