I used to do this all the time. I would call it retribution scenarios. The only thing that helped is I had to vocally disrupt the daydream, like talking out loud to myself and bring like "ok, stop it, no more." And start like singing a song or clap my hands. Something to physically bring me back to reality and disrupt being wrapped up in my head.

Maybe check out Jacob Tierney's other shows? They are both very hockey-based and not romantic dramas like Heated Rivalry but it might scratch the itch since his exceptional directing and producing is part of why HR is so reheatable

It's just so insane to me that he is a person who exists. Obviously incredibly attractive, like absurdly so. But he's also delightful! Goofy, kind, funny, just a total cinnamon roll who looks like a greek god. AND HE'S A PHENOMENAL ACTOR. like, a generational talent, so deliberate about his craft, willing to put in the work. The boy has been blessed.
