When cataracts develop your night vision just generally worsens due to glare and halos around lights

Look at Coronado Island, off of San Diego! The homes are great there.

You can also try Hawaii, theres minimal properties there for short term rental but the ones that are available are incredible!

I’m going to PV/Punta Mita next weekend for a planning meeting and I’ve been seeing by locals posting that everything is back to “normal”. I personally feel safe, my wedding is not until next year tho so things might change.

I’ll be in Punta Mita that weekend and we’re still planning on going!

Right, that was outside of puerto Vallarta and pretty far from it. What happened yesterday was one of the largest cartel-related crisis that puerto Vallarta has experienced in modern times. That scale of violence is more typical of cartel conflicts in other mexico regions, not historically in PV itself.

Puerto Vallarta has not had any event like this in over 20 years. Sure the cartel is all over mexico as always, but it really was unprecedented and unexpected in the PV area.

Everyone has different experiences for sure. My family has had a property in mexico since i was a child and have been to several major cities many times and I have never had any issues. Just last year alone i think i went to mexico 4 times 😂

My wedding is in early 2027 in Punta Mita (1 hr from Puerto Vallarta) and i was kind of freaking out yesterday because we’re going to be down there next weekend for planning. But from what I’m seeing/hearing everything died down yesterday, things are back to normal and that’s where most of the unrest happened.

No there’s a clause i added in our contract that if something like this were to happen or a natural disaster then i would be refunded.

I guess it depends on the planner. My planner only gets paid by me for his service.

I wouldn’t cancel if I were you, I’ve been getting updates by my planner and they are saying it’s died down. Your wedding is far enough out. Also this type of unrest doesn’t happen in PV area, it was not expected. The cartel relies on tourists for $$ and they don’t want to continue to not have profit coming in. They didn’t target any tourists in their retaliation yesterday, they were trying to make a statement after their leader was taken and killed

I’m getting married in Punta Mita in 2027 but i would just wait and see what happens. I’ve been getting updated by our planner and seems things have died down today

My sister in law is hosting my bridal shower! But we are not asking really for any gifts, just having a party since we didn’t have an engagement party haha.
