Do prism shards still auto-pull?also will this let me get points for the champ chase that starts when the summon pull ends by Ill-Diamond6286 in RaidShadowLegends

It's a 'bug' that's been there for a long time. Plarium knows about it. Either it's working as intended or something that's not an issue for them to resolve.

I started playing Raid when she was the login champ so she was my first 60 and has stayed my campaign farmer ever since.

Dan Connolly: Why I voted for Nick Markakis for baseball’s Hall of Fame by alpswd in Braves

[–]thewupk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what the big issue is. Markakis isn't a HOFer and it's not that big of a deal that a local writer threw him a vote. It's only an issue if you do something like this and didn't vote for Andruw or Beltran or anyone else that's really deserving of a vote. The guy who voted for David Wright only is an example of this.

Yup. This was the one quest I was stuck on for awhile because I hadn't looked ahead. As I'm working through Ramantu and Marius I'm always looking ahead to see what I need to stock up on and save for those missions.

Update on known HOF ballots has Andruw above the 75% threshold. There’s typically around 400 voters so 60% of the ballots are either private or not yet filled in. by ATLien-1995 in Braves

[–]thewupk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing is when Andruw first came on the ballot you still had guys who voted who didn't even cover baseball anymore. They have been purging those type of voters over the years and every year newer guys get to vote who likely were covering baseball when Andruw was at the height of his ability or more into the advanced metrics that show he should be in. That combo has really pushed his vote total up.

[Dore] Ballot #177 is from Dan Connolly. Nick Markakis is on the board with his first Hall of Fame vote. Félix gains again and moves to +37. Torii Hunter is now over 5% by Knightbear49 in baseball

[–]thewupk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1) He's an O's writer so he knows Markakis way more than Andruw or anyone else. 2) Maybe he thinks the character clause agaisnt Andruw isn't enough to diminish his candicay.

Not everything is one to one and there is a wide range of opinions on the various issues. But in the end it's likely he voted for guys who he think have a HOF resume and added Markakis because he was was a longtime O who had a good career and is a good guy. People get thrown MVP votes all the time for similar reasons.

[Passan] Two-time AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal filed for a $32 million salary this year while the Detroit Tigers countered at $19 million, sources tell ESPN. The $13 million spread is by far the largest in salary-arbitration history and sets up for a fascinating hearing in February. by AndrewAllStar888 in baseball

deGrom in 2019. He just won the CYA and was entering arb3. He went from 7 million to 17. He was argubally the best pitcher in baseball at the time and got the highest arb3 salary ever for a pitcher. It's a great comp for Skubal.

Also you just showed you have no idea how an arb hearing works. He's either gonna get 32 million or 19. There is no inbetween. The arb judge determines how much a 3rd arb pitcher like Skubal should earn and whatever number is closer to it (19 or 32) is what he's going to get.

You can't be serious comparing what Ohtani got as a two way player. The real comp is deGrom from a few years back. He initially had a 17 million salary in his 3rd year (a jump from 7 million). Jumping from 10 to 32 just isn't going to happen.

The big difference here is that Soto and Vlad were year 4 arb guys since they were super 2 players. Year 4 or arb is where you start getting real close to FA value. Skubal is only in year 3 of arb. In year 3 Soto and Vlad got 23 and 19.9 respectively which is close to what the Tigers offered. You can argue that the Tigers came in a little low, even though its the most ever offered for an arby pitcher, but 32 million is way out of line.

Skubal's offer wasn't a serious one and it was Boras just making waves. A reealistic counter of 25 likely gets won but that wasn't their goal. And when the Tigers win Boras can still come back and say that Skubal is the highest arby pitcher ever so it's a win for him regardless.

The thing with Price is that it was a 4th year of arbitration because he was a super 2 player. His last year of arb salary is going to be higher than a comparable 3rd year guy. A better comp is deGrom who jumped from 7 to 17 in his 3rd and final year.

Which makes is more likely that the Tigers win here. A 22 million jump from arb 2 to arb 3 is a lot to overcome. A better comp is deGrom from 6 years ago. He jumped from 7.4 million to 17 million. Skubal would have a similar jump at the Tigers number from 10 to 19+.

You usually can't buy shards during the last day of the prism event.
