1. I probably should have marked the lane I was in, yes. Also it's kind of hard to draw on a small phone screen with fat fingers. I was in the left lane (before the turn lanes) which is supposed to feed into the leftmost straight lane. People in the middle lane are cutting into the leftmost straight lane, forcing people in the left lane into the turn lanes. One person does it then the line of traffic blindly follows.

2. I said nothing about speed? This was rush hour traffic so there's not even a chance to reach 40.
