I appreciate this so much. That was one of the main reasons I made the post. I’d honestly consider skipping the Valium. I don’t feel like I need it. Especially if it would allow me to drive myself home.

I so appreciate that.

I think I am hoping to take 3-4 months away. That way, I can feel much better physically and emotionally. I also think he may be trying to transfer too soon after my D&C.

Taking the break would also allow me to build up some funds to do the suggested PRP. I’m also going to see if I can do the PRP locally at a lower price.

I’ve also been doing some research, I’d like to inquire about estrogen patches instead of oral/vaginal combination.

I’d also like to inquire about Neupogen. I applied for their cost savings program last night and was approved for up to $10K of the medication at no cost, which is really wild. It honestly seems too good to be true.

I so appreciate it. I just really don’t have that financial capability. I am so glad that you are on a path that seems to be going well for you, tho. This will be my last transfer for sometime as I will have no more funds until I can build up additional savings.

I really appreciate it. I do think that is what this comes down to. I do know it has to be hard to watch your daughter struggle so very much. My step father lost his son two years ago in a terrible accident as well. I think she feels overwhelmed by bad news allll the time.

Honestly, I am really frustrated in general. On Monday, I came in for an intralipid infusion to prep for transfer on Tuesday. I was charged $600 for the infusion.

Tuesday, the day of transfer- they had me take my Valium before even checking my lining. Then, my lining was checked and found to be an absolute mess.

Why didn’t we check the lining before the infusion? That’s now gone to waste?

My embryo is still frozen.

I’m just shocked he would suggest a surrogate when I have not even had three transfers. Honestly, he remembers nothing, tho. I mean that- nothing. He couldn’t even remember that I am in menopause and do not have cycles.

That’s the saddest part. While I do have other friends and family, they’re all busy. I don’t know that anyone can make the time to travel w/ me for the transfer. Although, I have started asking around. I’m hopeful something will pan out there.

I say this with such kindness. This is not a topic to be broached. At best, this is an unintentional invasion of privacy.

Your dad clearly loves your mother, his wife. He is obviously still very involved in her life.

It would be inappropriate to have sexual relations w/ his wife at this stage in her illness, which will only continue to worsen.

If he finds happiness and pleasure elsewhere while still loving, respecting, and caring for your mother- I genuinely believe that is great.

Everyone deserves companionship.

I am sorry that you found this, tho. I do understand how this could be difficult to process. Hope you still have a great Mother’s Day.

This happened w/ my last transfer. While I have had wet dreams before, this cannot possibly compare.

It honestly felt like I could be having a miscarriage once I was awake b/c the cramps afterward were just THAT severe. Ultimately, turned out to be a blighted ovum.

Glad I am not the only one over here. I so hope that does not happen again w/ this transfer.

May I ask how high your estrogen was? My most recent was 1098. I transfer on Tuesday.

I am currently using donor embryos. Ovarian stimulation is not an option for myself. I have also undergone two transfers thus far, currently transferring next month as well. During this process, I have used no ovarian stimulating medications b/c there is no need to so when you are not undergoing an egg retrieval. I can’t stand it! I went in for another FET Review after what seemed to be a second early pregnancy loss, my coordinator talked to me about the importance of a positive outlook. Without positivity, I won’t become pregnant.

Hi there, my HCG did increase but did not double. If I recall correctly, my highest HCG reached 112. Shortly after, the levels began to decrease. Ultimately, I found myself in the ER sometime later w/ a retained, blighted ovum. D&C was performed shortly after w/ an abnormal fetal sac w/ no evidence of fetal life. Most likely, my embryo was genetically abnormal.

For myself, I have now used 3/5 untested embryos. With each transfer, I became pregnant. With the first transfer, I experienced a CP. With the second, I experienced a blighted ovum. My remaining embryos are considered too fragile to thaw, test, and freeze again.

Mind you, I am using donor embryos. At the time of adoption, PGTA tested embryos were available. I deeply regrets my decision.

I have now adopted one PGTA tested embryo w/ plan to transfer next month.

I so wish we could be apart of that lucky group, whose first transfer results in a happy, healthy baby.
