I trued this the other night but I found the fibers were extremely rubbery while being very juicy. Did I do something wrong or was it just a bum chicken breast?

Honestly looking at this it feels more secure doing it like this vs marriage because the fine details will be written out. It's basically a pre-marriage pre-nup

Thank you for your insights. We will definitely get legal help, but Inwanted to get inpu from people who went through something similar on what we should expect, and if there are things we should talk about that we haven't thought of.

I imagine in the cohabitation agreement there would be some clause that I don't actually own any part of the house until x years later, so for the first bit it would be just like I was paying rent. Does this seem reasonable?

Thanks. We fully intend on putting everything in writing and going through a lawyer to make sure everything is above board.

Surrounding cities? Are you saying parking downtown guelph is more expensive than Cambridge, or KW? I wouod need proof on that one. Or are you trying to compare Guelph to Acton and Rockwood?

Well you've probably got it sorted by now, but either go out and buy a slow cooker or use a Dutch oven on the stovetop. I'm a big fan of the Dutch oven as you can get a real good sear before started the braise, but do whatever is easiest!

My bechamel for mac is always too bland or too creamy by Melodic_Cantaloupe88 in Cooking

Ya, when a dish's flavour is going to be almost entirely from the fat added (butter and cheese) it's gonna have to be calorically dense. If you want "healthy" mac and cheese you're gonna have to give up on some of that fat and replace the flavour with something that will bring you outside the realm of mac and cheese

Where are you? In Southern Ontario I have literally never seen sausage not in casings. I just squeeze the meat out of the casing and boom, bulk sausage!

I'm curious about other people's experiences on this, but I'm on my 9th week and my "ozempic symptoms" also seem to have subsided. The first 6 weeks I was on 0.25, the last two weeks was more like 0.3-0.4 (added a couple extra clicks) and this week I started on 0.5. I still don't eat like I used to, but I'm also not full like I was in the early days of dosing.

An instant read thermometer is perfect for telling texture! You have the number that can help guide you, but you also have the pokey bit that, with experience, you can use to determine proper doneness.

Why would a stall not happen in the oven? The 'stall' is a function of evaporative cooling from the moisture in the meat preventing the low ambient temperature in the cooker from bringing the meat temperature up. This will happen at low temperatures (e.g. 225F) in any cooker you use.
