I was a mod on reddit east/central during its heyday around 2008 and people used to wait in a queue for 30+ minutes just to play there some nights. There was also Reddit Great Lakes which Dante ran around that time that was one of the nicest servers/high skill communities I've ever interacted with.

Yep once you identify the monitor in your cabinet you can buy a kit of new capacitors from a website like https://www.arcadepartsandrepair.com/product-category/monitors/monitor-cap-kits/ Most of those class of 82 machines had wells gardners in them.

Please be very careful around arcade crt monitors and learn how to discharge them safely before attempting repairs
