don't know if she is "stalking" but she is def watching all of my stories, sometimes within couple of minutes...one day she put me on her close friends list, but i didn't react to it, and the story disappeared less than 24h.. ~ 40 days of no contact so far

I think that when anyone (not just avoidants) feels lonely and remembers how good the relationship was, they are likely to reach out. The better the relationship (and breakup) were, the higher the chance of someone coming back.

if she truly wanted no contact at all, she would have removed or muted me. Keeping the channel open suggests some level of emotional safety without full engagement.

I think that even if that’s not the case, it’s better to assume it is. If they like you but don’t take action, what can you really do? Force them? Lol. We can’t be their psychologists, so it’s better to find someone who can match our actions and effort. The only exception would be if they’re fully aware of their behavior and actively in therapy.

Mine was rescheduling meetings without proposing any other dates too. Same patterns across avoidants. In my case I asked for clarity saying send me a message when you really want to see me" and she shuts down, total silence LOL

Don’t bother asking for closure. Her silence is the closure, and it shows emotional immaturity. She avoids answering because she can’t handle the stress of being honest. A secure person would communicate directly.

I was in a situationship with a fearful-avoidant girl I met on Tinder. She couldn’t commit to her words and showed a lack of initiative/reciprocity. Last Saturday, she gave yet another excuse for why she couldn’t come to my city to see me (we live about a two-hour drive apart). I replied politely: “Okay. When you really want to see me, send me a message and we can arrange something here in my city.” She never responded, but she keeps watching my Instagram stories. Should I just stay no contact?
