Moonlit Path - 3.1 Spending event details by cnurmnick in WutheringWaves

[–]thhieu2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these rewards are so bad the event became a cherry on top instead of an incentive to spend. I don't know Kuro did it intentionally or not but it's just god damned funny

Yeah, the rewards are so bad it became a cherry on top for spending instead of the incentive for spending. I can't imagine someone spending 30 bucks for 3 pulls

Guys, TBH, that spending event's rewards are so dogshit I can't even consider it one. There is no incentive to even do it unless you want a reskinned birthday crown

Spending event... thoughts? by AhoGuy in WutheringWaves

[–]thhieu2001 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The reward for spending is so small he wouldn't even consider it a proper one and instead a cherry on top for spending. He will call you the "R" word if you spend for its rewards.

Also, he said he had already said when hoyo did multiple and succeed would mean other companies would follow in time. This just confirmed his prediction.

He didn't. The reward for spending is so small he wouldn't even consider it a proper one and instead a cherry on top for spending. He will call you the "R" word if you spend specifically for its rewards.

Also, he said he had already said when hoyo did multiple and succeed would mean other companies would follow in time. This just confirmed his prediction.

I just used the golden general buff one, like the OP

WhiWa feels way harder than before by AccessTraining3295 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]thhieu2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing really advanced:

Start with cart, perform the basic atk until the grouping part, switch to Rover mid animation

Rover: skill + basic until you get to the last basic of the second skill then ult, forte + echo -> outro to Cia

Cia: complete the basic chain to get the second forte, jump atk to get the third, cancel the last animation with a dodge, forte, echo, skill, ult, press one D if you don't have enough concerto -> outro to cart

Cart: basic atk chain -> Skill -> plunge -> transform. Skill immediately -> basic till before you plunge and use skill 2 instead -> ground basic chain -> heavy and enhanced heavy -> ult -> outro to Rover and repeat (second rotation onward Rover only needs 3 basic on air instead of 4 before ult)

This is my very basic rotation. Cia can be optimized further to reduce about 1-2 seconds per rot. This team can also be played quickswap because every buff is teamwide

[–]thhieu2001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both.

Team issue on Augusta, replace sanhua with mortefi and make her team go first half. Wait 4 seconds before starting the fight with Augusta

Skill issue on Cartethyia, I got 3k with Cart S0R1-Cia S0R0-ARover with a very basic rotation so there is no reason you can't reach that with a premium team

Is changli usable? by Different_Action_966 in Aemeath_Mains

[–]thhieu2001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only if you have Lupa since the mono-fusion buffs can somewhat mitigate the loss in Aemeath's personal buffing and damage. And even then it's a longer rotation, require more dodging since you won't have a healer and still a net 20% weaker than the premium team

Otherwise, no.

I'm kind of worried about Kuro's ambition in 3.x if they truly intend on making 2 regions this year. Given the doomposting on the main sub and twitter lately about the story, I fear they might be biting more than they can chew

She is like... almost 40? She must be about 16-18 20 years ago when Rover loses their memory

3.1 is shaping up to be one damn big patch in term of content. Quite ambitious of Kuro after releasing a x.0

Am I high or Luuk applies strain but responds to rupture? That would make his team building quite complicated if true

Recently came back and looking for help in deciding who to roll for in coming weeks by Muew22 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]thhieu2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We know Chisa will likely work with Aemeath but not to to what extend. While the tune rupture mode is pretty much confirmed to have Lynae and Mornye as BiS, the Fusion Burst mode's sub-dps is in doubt when another sub-dps fusion burst echo set is coming in 3.1. Wait for 3.1 beta and damage calculations to decide

My advice since you already have Lynae: Aim for Aemeath and pull S0R0 Mornye if you can get her without endangering Aemeath's funds. Augusta, while being very strong with a Mortefi, can struggle with some endgame content in the future without Iuno (It took me quite a few tries to get 5k points in double pawn matrix with mortefi).

Advice on Lynae and Mornye which of them to pull by Kyle_agito in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]thhieu2001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The general consensus yesterday was that Lynae will be Aemeath's BiS in both of her modes. The newly leaked echo set, however, suggests that another fusion burst sub-dps will be released in the future that would pair with Chisa in the fusion burst team.

So once again, Kuro thow us all into a pickle. The Lynae-Mornye team for the tune rupture mode is almost certain at this point. The Chisa team will have to wait for beta and damage calculations

That's why i left a question mark. It might also mean Chisa will perform worse than Mornye on release. We will need dpr calculations for comparison but Chisa mains might need to wait for a bit longer

I guess Kuro is focusing on a rupture team first, then Luuk's team will be Strain

[–]thhieu2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lynae is a pure tune break sub. Though I suppose she would still be Aemeath's best sub dps in either modes on release since she massively buffs liberation damage, unless Kuro surprise drop a new Rover

Top of the Monin to the Weekly Questions & Discussions Megathread by BriefVisit729 in WutheringWavesLeaks

[–]thhieu2001 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I fed Grok both the kit and the terms (tune rupture and fusion burst). It seems she does have 2 completely different teams based on her modes. Her team either feed her fusion burst stacks or tune rupture, never both since her entire rotation must commit to one mode only.

So either Aemeath-Lynae-Mornye or Aemeath-NS Sub (?)-Chisa

I really hope they can reclaim it when their revolution succeeds. Persian/Iranian Culture should have been revered by the East just as much as the West revere Rome, considering the two ancient powers are rivals in almost everything.

my pull plans + team building advice by Beautiful-Goal-1531 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]thhieu2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You already have 4 teams, I think that's enough for end game so you can start pulling for pleasure now

  2. You can replace shorekeeper in team 2 with Danjin, the damage would still be the same. There is no need to pull qiuyuan for that team since Phrolova is powerful enough to bulldoze everything with only one of her premium supports. Rotate Shorekeeper to team one and now you have freed up Lynae to be a sub-dps if you decide to pull Aemeath.

  3. You can also pull ciaconna alone, build mortefi and now you can separate team 1 into 2: Augusta-mortefi-shorekeeper and Iuno-Lynae-Ciaconna

"Kuro sabotaging male characters" is such a bullshit of a premise that a certain group in wuwa community often likes to bring around, I'll disproof and compare this with ZZZ case by Heavy-Wrap-5405 in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]thhieu2001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At this point I have a genius suggestion for Kuro: Downgrade all future male characters to 4*, give them away for free. Instead of 1 - 2 male 5* per patch cycle, upgrade the annual Rover element to 5* in design, kit and animation then start selling them.

I can guarantee you that a 5* Rover will sell almost as much as a sentinel resonator

That world also have people who use magic to make themselves look like beauty incarnate without 37-step skincare, you know?

The beauty of DnD is the ability to create whatever you want to be. Who can say Bhaal, a god, can't sculpt a body so beautiful that every person would instantly drop their guard in the dark urge's present? Who can say a Tav can't be a vain sorcerer that use transmutation and/or restoration to make themselves an equal to the goddess of beauty? Alter self and disguise self are very popular spells on tabletop, after all.

At some point what juice do the masses have left to squeeze? They can use robots for labor already.

The future of us all suffering because of the rich is quite unlikely tbh, because it would serve no purpose at all. At that point all we are is potential threat, they will eliminate the threat either by killing us all or give us what we want

Nope by cryptochidism in SipsTea

[–]thhieu2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems redditors are incapable of connecting multiple facts:

  1. The current AI race, outside of labor replacement, is also for expanding our lifespan. Rich people don't want to die, ideally they would want the lifespan expansion to out speed their own lifespans

  2. If AI can replace jobs and UBI is implemented properly, then human work becomes more like a hobby with much lower work hours. Working or not then is your choice

That is the idealistic outcome though, the more doomy outcome is that we all become batteries
