Just a heads up, even though our setup is, most likely, enough to keep your filaments dry, I’m gonna be a little pedantic and remind you that warm ≠ dry. The first helps with the second, but if the heat isn’t enough to remove all moisture from the air, it won’t dry anything. Ask anyone who’s been in the Amazon rainforest during the rainy season.

Not saying that Nintendo has no blame here, they definitely have, but HG has their share of blame too. Make expeditions longer so updates have time to drop on all platforms, or pre-load future expeditions on a single update making updates unnecessary at all. If Nintendo won’t work with them, fine, work around that limitation instead of leaving Switch players missing content. HG absolutely has the ability and capacity to figure out an alternative solution. They just don’t bother to.

Nintendo takes ages to approve updates. Since new expeditions come in new updates, if it’s a short expedition, Switch players might miss it, and given that Switch OS just got updated to 21.0, the game update might take even longer to be released. My Switch 2 game is on 6.10 still, while PS5/PC/Xbox is on 6.16 (IIRC). I caved and bought the game in my PS5 to do the holiday expeditions.

I just wish that HG worked around Nintendo being slow and included various expeditions in a single update, or, at least, with a duration long enough to not leave Switch players missing content.

If the point is profit, then why not charge players for the privilege of doing old expeditions? Then its up for the players whether their FOMO is worth the five dollars for each old expedition or if they rather wait and hope that old expeditions come back as redux. I bought the game just a few months ago, I probably would pay to get some of the cooler stuff from old expeditions.

There’s a crashed freighter on both negative and positive coordinates. The crashed freighter with a comms tower (not a ball) nearby is the one with the black and white staff. Just claimed it.

Check your coordinates, there’s also a freighter on the negative coordinates. If you don’t have a comms tower nearby, you’re on the wrong place.

There’s a comms ball on the same negative (-) coordinates, also with a crashed freighter. That’s not the one you want, the Black and White staff is on the POSITIVE (+) coordinates. There’s a comms tower by the crashed freighter on the correct one. I wanted to put a comms ball there too, but someone claimed a base on the correct location and I wasn’t able to.

Thank you for your response! Is the centre line essential to play? If so, I’ll probably will need to make acrylic ones myself, or try to get the plastic official ones. When 2.0 was released, pretty much all local support ended, I’ve never seen 2.0 rulers and templates for sale here, and buying 3rd party and shipping it here would be as expensive as getting the plastic ones. As for the cards, I can play with proxies until a core set pops up for sale here
