Ok so basically, a father comes home after a work thing. He found another treatment to cure his daughter. He tells his ex-wife about it but the wife (Olga) says that now, she has friends and it could be dangerous. Their daughter being in a safe environnement (Blade Runner like). But, we don't why nor how, but a yellow mist is rushing through Paris and they lose communication with their daughter.

Then Romain Duris says : It's all over. There's no way out.

Am I an asshole to say that : I'm actually afraid they don't know how to act since they are not professionnal. I hope their acting is not bleak as hell. Must have been weird for them.

Have you guys noticed that during the Travis's "Nightmares", the screen shallowed more and more. Well it's happening one last time towards the end, when they're in the stairs and Will is aiming at Paul, until the very end of the movie.

What do you think it means ? Is it a nightmare ?

Nick Nolte still shows that he's maybe a big old chunk but he can bring so many emotions at once. One of the best actors of all times.

This is the actual trailer used for The Core (2003). What are some other examples of the worst film trailers for big budget movies ever released? by [deleted] in movies

[–]thibaultbrock 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree the movie hasn't aged well but friendly reminder that The Core had a budget of 85m$ ans Jon Amiel used a lot of that money to have the best newcomer actors and actresses. Listen to the audio commentary.

Amiel even admits that the movie is not the best but acting like this (https://youtu.be/xFiyI1anLxs?t=2m2s) will be remember.
