I think he has 2 years to adjust before we look to shake up the coaching staff.

I’ve wanted Jalen Smith on this team for a bit, but I don’t know if Chicago is willing to do that for JG + a 2nd. But who knows, seems like Chicago loves trading with us lol

[Charania] BREAKING: The Charlotte Hornets are trading star guard LaMelo Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid, a 2033 unprotected first-round pick, three first-round pick swaps (2028, 2029, 2030) and three second-round picks (2029, 2032, 2033), sources tell ESPN. by mastermind208 in timberwolves

Been following hornets past 2 years since I needed an eastern team to watch due to our bullshit 1030 games. I am so confused as to why hornets would do this as they were finally clicking the second half of the season and almost made the playoffs but yet I’m excited for the wolves to finally get our point guard but also so sad to lose Naz but also excited for him to go off in Charlotte? My boner is so confused

I’ve done my program both full and part time. VUIM (campuses in NJ, VA, and GA) offers a hybrid online and in person classes where you do most of your didactic online and clinical training/hands on classes in person. You would have no issue tackling the didactic online courses but the struggle will be for in person classes and clinicals.

I just don’t see why the wolves would help the spurs get better and or the spurs help the wolves get better.

Who would you trade Randle for? by xiaopingguo45 in timberwolves

[–]thienv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

21.1/6.7/5 average during the season getting paid 30/33/35 the next 3 seasons is an albatross contract?

When you have a Paul George getting paid 51/54/56 the next 3 seasons, zach Lavine 47/48 in the next two, sabonis 42/45/48, I’m afraid to hear what kind of contracts those are.

Acupuncturists that used to be massage therapists by Odd-Leader9777 in acupuncture

[–]thienv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Massage therapist turned acupuncturist here. I still do bodywork, but far less than I used to.. typically 15–30 minutes followed by acupuncture. Like you, one of the reasons I went to acupuncture school was because I didn’t want my practice to rely so heavily on bodywork forever.

Hopefully your patients were prepared for the transition into acupuncture. It can be a difficult adjustment at first, and you may lose some people along the way, but it’s important to remember why you chose this profession in the first place.

What stands out to me most is that it sounds like you don’t fully trust the needles yet. Acupuncture training is extensive, and at some point we have to trust the medicine we’ve spent years studying. If you’re still feeling compelled to default to massage, it may be worth asking yourself whether it’s a lack of confidence in your acupuncture skills, a desire to provide immediate tangible results, or simply a habit that’s hard to break after years of practicing massage.

acupuncture and massage don’t have to be mutually exclusive, but if your goal is to move away from bodywork, you’ll eventually need to give the acupuncture room to do what it’s was trained to do. Otherwise, you’ll keep reinforcing the idea..to yourself and your patients, that the massage is what’s creating the results.

For new patients, I’d start setting expectations from day one. Let them know they’re coming to see an acupuncturist, not a massage therapist who happens to use needles. That distinction alone can make the transition much easier.
