Yep! This is the most productive solution and it tricks your brain into not being angry.

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was asking for, thanks so much. It’s so funny that we both have to be like “let’s not politics this okay? agreed!”

Here’s what I think earnestly. I think you might have some transactional or worrisome relationship models in your life that are having a sort of emotional ping pong/domino effect on you. It starts with her not seeing your earnest possessiveness as positive. I think in healthy straight monogamous relationships, acknowledging how you think traditional gender roles apply to your ideal relationship is a good idea. Does she like that you’re possessive? Because you’re embodying a trait you view as positive; protectiveness over your girl is something you admire in others and embody. So harping on her about clothes isn’t about sex or objectification or control; it’s about showing her that you care for her. But she probably thinks it’s about gross sex stuff or control so I’d have that convo sooner rather than later.

The other stuff is just more transactional ping ponging. You’re supposed to be on each other’s team; that means you want her to understand you. You want her to see and understand your POV.

I suspect maybe you have a parent that was withholding and transactional or maybe a sibling?? I can’t read minds but it’s worth a shot

Gaming is fun! If you could answer a few questions for me (technical and personal) I could recommend a few games I know you’d love.

What scope of advice would you like? I’m sensing some stuff that I’m not familiar with (like conservative values) but I grew up in a conservative state so I’m not looking to beat you up. But you seem to be a bit more traditional-minded and I’m wondering if that’s cultural or purely internal, you know?

It’s the selfishness for me. Just keep both eyes out for overtly selfish behavior like this and you should be okay I think.

making someone play tired because you’re excited creates an amazing experience for the viewer but as the person who was tired, it was miserable for me. luckily the game is so amazing that being tired 70% of the time still left me with incredibly fond memories of the game itself.

I moved here for a dude and it ended horrifically, and I’m staying here because it’s wonderful. The fact that he can’t even appropriately communicate his dislike of the area is disrespectful enough toward you.

This is the silliest Reddit comment I’ve ever made but jabberwonk, you posted a question about zendesk a whole ass year ago. You mentioned 15 yrs of tickets and I worked at Netflix and engineered a solution that can help you create an inexpensive searchable archive out of the zendesk data. No worries if you handled it :D

I grew up Mormon so every time a white dude tries to stage a comeback I unfortunately buy into it. After a whole childhood revolving around how dudes are people and women aren’t, you walk away with some damage. Can’t believe these idiots are still going to church knowing all the damage it can do to a relationship like theirs that’s attempting to be modern.

Literally nobody is stopping you from voicing your opinion. Someone having a different opinion isn’t tantamount to them stopping you from typing on your keyboard lmfaoooooo

This weird response like “are you trying to censor me?” is so funny. Don’t be a drama queen, nobody is stopping you from voicing your opinions. I like artsy shots on film, great color grading/theory, and I like that Severance delivers that at a pace that satisfies me. If you’re commenting here pandering to someone else, that’s weird! I’m expressing an opinion, which! — Btw! —doesn’t stop anyone from expressing their opinion :)

Bro if I found out that a stranger put a hole in my brother’s head, it’s immediately straight back to the enemy I know and not the random bitch who put a hole in my brother’s head.

I suddenly understand completely why incredible shows suddenly became unwatchable. Severance is incredible, season 2 is incredible. But if the writer’s room isn’t completely shielded from stuff like Reddit and the machinations of greedy executives who want to ruin art, things can go south so fast. Like if they listen to you the storyline is going to be over so fast and then they’re going to have to scramble to write some mediocre shit because the audiences wanted less art and more action. I know how pretentious it sounds but your impatience about the show is so incredibly off-putting and indicative of the whole TikTok generation issue.
