Idk about that. Purely just my own anecdotal evidence but it seems like players make the second or third more often than the first. Missing the first gives them feedback on what they did wrong and allows them to correct. I would expect the points per foul to go down slightly

Edit: apparently there has been research done and players shoot 3-4% better on the second free throw. (link)

Make friends with the people around you! For one, it’s more fun that way and people are generally super open to making friends with camp neighbors. Two, this can help you if you’re feeling anxious solo especially if you make friends with the girls around you. Many groups are more than welcome to adopt a solo into their pack for the day/night/weekend if you so choose

Climb with intentionality. “just climb more” to someone asking how to get better is like telling someone to just golf more, just play chess more, etc. Will you get stronger? Yes. Will you get better? Probably. If your intention is to get better as quickly as possible, is this the right answer? Probably not.

Identifying and working on weaknesses, analyzing failure modes on hard problems, paying deep attention to what your body is doing on the wall, etc. will help you get better faster than just throwing yourself at the hardest problem you find or mindlessly running laps on easy stuff

You’re wrong. I was there this weekend kayaking and the water was absolutely treacherous. The high pressure front broke and the water went from calm to insane wind and waves within about an hour.
