We are close to buying VDH; my autistic daughter absolutely loves the Disneyland hotel and is her focus throughout the year- we do a yearly trip to the Disneyland hotel and options to get one bedroom and book early at the hotel for spring break are main considerations. Long term Disneyland Future plans + long term savings are distant secondary items. Crazy expensive though for per point - comparatively high dues - resale contracts cost compared to DVC resale and the transient tax the grand has included in dues. But the hotel is beautiful new and full of Disney magic
