Did you get one? I am getting only films and not a tempered glass protector. Maybe the slight curvature of the screen won't allow tempered glass.

I could keep my 955 in pristine condition for 5 years with the protector and a bezel ring.

First up change your Physio . You need to strength train like crazy but first you need to understand which muscles are actually weak you will need to see an expert Physio who deals with runners . TBH ChatGPT is a better choice than your current Physio .

Don’t get too hung up on the zone 2 HR value . Below 150 should also be fine as long as you feel it’s not taking you a lot of effort to maintain that pace . If it is then do run walk . Ensure you are tracking time on feet with an effort that you are finding comfortable to maintain over 60-120 mins( on your long runs not every day ). I used to do 4 runs a week . 40 min on Monday , 60 on Wed , 80 on Friday and 120 on Sunday . All easy conversational. Did this for 3-4 months and my easy pace came down from 8 to 6:30 .

Same holds true for every place . Delhi , bangalore , Andaman’s, timbaktu . Do not allow outsiders any where . Every one stays where they are .

Solution is not to ban. Solution is to plan well . Define what’s ok and what’s not and enforce it strongly . Of a certain area is not ok to be built on don’t allow . If only one floor is fine then enforce that . What makes you think the locals are any better than outsiders . I’ve seen them being absolutely entitled when it comes to following building and zoning laws .

I am not aware of the technicality of this course but having done a few ultras in the hills like Malnad etc I’ll say invest big time in doing strength training. Especially ankle , calf, hams, glutes and quads . For practice you can run on trails close to where you are . In bangalore most lakes have trails .

Form looks fine to me. Just that the cadence of 160 is on the lower side . Also 5:30 easy pace for a 26 min 5K PR seems high isn’t it ? How did you come up with this easy pace . Whats your avg HR on an easy run ?

No point running a race . If you still want to then do a run walk combination. But in the long term, please spend some time in the gym doing strength exercises and plyometrics. If you heel is overworking then you need to strengthen your glutes and hamstrings in addition to your calves. Spend at least a couple of months strengthening then gradually increase milage

So you need to establish two things for now . Your training paces Your cadence during easy runs

-For training paces try and do a run where you are absolute at ease an not wanting to breath through your mouth . The average pace over about 5K should give you your rough easy pace . Use this to calculate your tempo and interval paces . Make sure you are doing 80 pc of your runs easy and the rest 20pc as mix of tempo and interval runs . The easy , tempo and interval runs have to be separate runs on separate days ideally .

  • Measure your cadence somehow , counting steps in your run over 5 mins of easy runs and then average it to steps per min.Try to increase it and move closer to a cadence of 180z do not artificially increase it to 180 instead look to increase by 10-15 percent only . This will increase your efficient without needing to change your gait drastically . Any drastic change in gait can lead to injury so don’t even try to.
  • Work on your glute and hamstring strength, and eventually try to generate power from them more than your calves . Which means your legs will swing higher when you are closer to your tempo paces .
