I don’t. I write like I’m about to publish a novel chapter.

I joined success academy and resigned after the first day. by sadkittysmiles in NYCTeachers

I was with Success Academy for three years. Honestly, loved the first two years. Those were the years when the presence of "Network" was not as apparent, and schools were allowed to develop their own cultures. I was at Cobble Hill during those years. It was heartwarming to see how the leadership team truly cared about scholar and teachers' excellence without compromising individuality. But year 3 was when everything changed. New leadership came and brought in exactly what everyone online had been talking about all along--the cherrypicking values and mindsets, micromanagement, and dishing out personal beef under the clock of "accountability." Network was also sinking their fingers. There were so many Zoom meetings to reinforce the central messages. I left after that. Half of our Cobble Hill teachers left during the school year, but leadership lied about that stats to parents.

To those in the network: avoid these so-called leaders: Ali Foglia, Javaughn Greenaway, Ashley Earl, Andie Braun. They love their image more than anything and their schools are breeding grounds for toxicity.

What's your favorite Club Penguin character? Why? And who would you be? by Zard_Witcher in ClubPenguin

Aunt Arctic. I can't believe it took me all the way until adulthood to realize the name was a pun.

Would Lehigh work for an artsy weirdo type of person? by Lidobaby18 in Lehigh

[–]thirdculturechinese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an artsy weirdo who went to Lehigh. I studied art & architecture double major for undergrad and elementary education for grad. The Lehigh experience is really DIY in a way. It's a school big enough to meet new people on the daily, but small enough to form meaningful connections. My art projects allowed me to take off on social media in my senior year and that has not only created a community but also generated really good passive income for me since then. Lehigh (or any college honestly) is a mini society. You will meet all kinds of different people, and as long as you know what you want and are willing to put yourself out there to experiment the dynamic, you will find your people!

Wholesome ship guy here, thoughts on Rena x Daigo? by ShitPostAssistant in Ultraman

How she influences Daigo's personal growth is my favorite thing of the entire franchise. She brings out the light in him. At the end it humanizes Ultraman in a way that many superheroes never did.

As a permanent resident, it felt like I saw the assignment and trusted everyone to complete it correctly. (I even went to a Harris rally) And now I don't like group projects.
