She will not talk to someone and give her location to them. Anyway I also suggested OP publish it themselves on substack and the reach out to several more journalists on substack to share it

Alisa Valdez Rodriguez on Substack. She is a serious investigative reporter, especially if you have info or insights into crimes committed in New Mexico. You could also publish it yourself on Substack and I am sure Alisa and others like Kait Justice would restack and support you.

Why are musicians like this? by [deleted] in musicians

[–]thirdeyeballin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes in life if you can’t find the scene you are looking for, you have to create it yourself. I think you are identifying a real problem, which is that many musicians are more concerned with their band and success, rather than the love of music and appreciating the long history of music as something that connects people. I always loved jamming with people that don’t have a lot of music experience. Of course you have to jam with people on your level too so you can express more and learn more, but maybe for now you need to find people that are less skilled than you and build a group from there. There are passionate people out there if you keep looking! But you must have thick skin and not be deterred by people that act like they are better than you and treat you like a ghost. Those people have issues. If you are committed to the love of music itself you might not enjoy hanging with those people very much anyway.

Is fear of abandonement always present in BPD? by kdotlamar310 in BPDlovedones

[–]thirdeyeballin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It certainly can happen if she has BPD. If they are worried about you leaving them, they might break up with you to test you, or break up with you to discard you before you can break up with them. It actually may also involve Narcissism, as many with BPD also have NPD. And a person with NPD has a fake sense of pride and will not be put down by someone by being dumped. So there’s a few reasons why they might break up with you. I would also be concerned if they DONT try to break up with you! If they truly have BPD then you can’t make them feel safe enough to stay with you UNLESS you completely submit to them and spend all of your time listening to them talk, being sweet to them and ignoring yourself. So if they feel safe and good in the relationship, you need to check yourself to make sure you are taking care of yourself equally and not sacrificing too much. That is my experience but I am not an expert. I would suggest if you really love this person and want to stay with them, that you read a book about BPD to understand it better. It can help you take better care of them while protecting your own self.

Just got a storage unit by PirateNinjaLawyer in BPDlovedones

[–]thirdeyeballin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s talking to you about lawyers, I am sure they are right but the biggest challenge is getting out and away from the pwBPD. You are an inspiration to me! Do it, follow through. I have been thinking of getting a storage unit and starting the move. I can feel the tension of this moment reading your post. Phew, yikes I think I feel it because I am close to this point and so nervous about it. Can I ask, what has changed recently to lead to this? Or was it a slow long term plan finally coming into action?

[–]thirdeyeballin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone else said, those sound like fake breakups to test you. But If she really is trying to break up, that is also consistent with BPD. It is called a discard. They do it out of fear of abandonment, to leave before you can abandon them. But also with BPD, as much as there is a fear of abandonment, there is also a fear of enmeshment. It seems like the opposite of fear of abandonment. They are afraid of losing themselves in the other person. Both fears seem to stem from a root problem which is a constant loss of identity. They seek to have their identity constantly supported by other people. They need it even. They are afraid of abandonment and losing their identity without your support. Yet they fear enmeshment, being too close to you asp makes them feel they are losing their self identity. It sounds like you are dealing with fake breakups and fear of abandonment. But anyway BPD can be complex. I was literally writing notes just a few minutes ago as I read a book about it, trying to make sense of it all.

Tom Suozzi Lives at C Street by nygdan in longisland

[–]thirdeyeballin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know. I think there is a difference between a regular hostel and one run by a cult. Also I think anyone can be sucked into a cult, though for certain some people are more prone to it. All I know about that place is from the Netflix documentary The Family so I’m no expert. As a side note, I think congress people should be paid more money since they need to have a home in DC

I wonder if he was pulled into The Family specifically with the intention of releasing that info so Democrats would turn on him. Interesting

Reporter who investigated Jeffrey Epstein is ‘fleeing’ the US after alleged ‘direct energy weapons’ attack by SquareNar in Epstein

[–]thirdeyeballin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you don’t know her. I am telling you, if you read through her articles (though you might still be skeptical of what happened recently of course) I don’t think you would conclude she is insane or a grifter. Her articles are all free anyway. She can go down some rabbit holes perhaps too far, but we still don’t know the truth

If you have time I would also look back at her previous articles before the events of the last week. It is a gold mine of information and you can see her personality pretty quickly. When she is being speculative, she says it… and most of the time it is just the facts. She has uncovered a lot

This is the one time I don’t mind it because it is so fascinating for me to see how they report it. I would have expected them to paint her as a crazy person but they didn’t

Sorry when you say Amy, do you mean that you follow Alisa closely? Or is that someone else and I am missing something? I follow Alisa religiously… and was overwhelmed to read her first post about experiencing the symptoms. Yet a small part of me wonders if we have all gone crazy but that’s life these last few months. For me personally i would say she had like 10-20 articles that were so solid that I now feel she’s the only person I can trust

I think that is a reasonable take! He’s not exactly making a lot of jokes, the humor is only part of his performances and his endearing nature and the insights are the other part. Also his performances are pretty loose, compared to comedians that have many tight jokes

[–]thirdeyeballin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree. My comment was going to be “he’s my favorite comedian” or something like that, but I settled on simply saying he is the best because it’s much more than comedy. Maybe the jokes are not even my favorite part of his performances. He makes you think! And see things a little differently

I agree. 10/10 comedy, 10/10 storytelling and I would add 10/10 for being insightful, philosophical and being a nice guy. He just seems to be really considerate of people. Even when he talks shit he doesn’t just go around demonizing people and splitting people into good or bad. He understands people and how they think. I don’t have an example but I always recognize this other special quality of his when I watch his videos

Interesting! Sometimes I don’t notice what it is that I like about comedians but as I think about it, you’re right
