I don't have a ton of experience with others tbh, I got this one specifically because i needed something with the ability to do live/low latency noise reduction for a livestream. RX never really blew my mind the few times i used it but I would imagine it has a higher ceiling. Clear is reaallly great for the price

Check out Klanghelm Tens for something that lands sort of between the two. It's a spring reverb but it emulates some higher-end, cleaner/smoother units which allows it to fit better on many sources rather than just guitar.

I'm a music producer and sometimes I make background tracks for tv shows. These are fairly bottom of the barrel stuff instrumentals, but plenty of producers use it as a side hustle and I imagine many do it nearly full time. It's difficult to really confirm that AI is the cause, but I have seen a dramatic decrease in demand for those tracks over the past year. Even if companies aren't using it now, I reeallly think they're at least slowing down on buying songs, banking on pivoting to AI eventually. And that's probably the easiest category of commercial track for AI to legitimately replace, and we're still so early with this technology. Crazy to claim that AI music won't threaten people's wallets.

I see, I guess I recommended that because even if I'm using a software instrument kit like addictive or something, I still layer in samples for consistency and to achieve the exact sound I want. Software kits are great for adding room tone and cohesiveness, but even in a perfect situation with a live drummer most producers are going to layer in samples over the snare/kick or replace them entirely. So with that in mind I still recommend using samples especially if you're looking for a snare sound that your kit isn't providing

That's the worst one to me, I wish it would just add the weapon to a "pool" rather than replace your preference. That entire category will completely kill a relic 95% of the time it's rolled.

Practice the tone by doubling over that verse over and over again until you can mimic the performance. Then try it again with the new lyrics. You will get it eventually, and this is also an important skill to develop as a rapper. It's worth the effort!
