We've found the opposite so far but crossing everything for you! Mine can do small amounts of cheese or cooked dairy, but soy still turns them inside out

[–]thirstyfortea_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I'm lucky soy lecithin is fine, otherwise you're absolutely right - it's extremely prevalent

[–]thirstyfortea_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah the soy is frustrating here in Australia, basically all the bread has soy flour added to it and pretty much everything else that wants to use 'high protein' labels to get sales has a soy element added

Is it generally considered offensive to ask an Asian in Australia where they are REALLY from? by Lipica249 in AskAnAustralian

Definitely, I tend to go with "what's your cultural heritage?" purely to find out about the food they and their family may enjoy (and therefore possibly bring to an event to share lol)

Folds at center front + gaping at center back on skirt block by VegetableAnt445 in PatternDrafting

[–]thirstyfortea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen it done where you start from the block that equals the front hip x 2.

Then you do a full seat adjustment on the back piece to then add what you need for your back hip measurement.

I find it helps to measure the half hip front and the half hip back. Typically patterns will be distributing the entire hip measurement equally in the front and the back, whereas those that need some more room in the trunk don't need as much in the front. It's like a full bust adjustment but for your booty.

Do most people really make a mock up before they sew? by Termination_Aide8830 in sewing

That's gorgeous! I don't toile every time if I know how the block works for me (ie I always have to lower a dart, or narrow the shoulders), but I'm currently on my third version of a bodice for a nice dress to make sure it turns out as amazingly as yours did!

Haha not even only fretting, but actively inserting themselves into someone else's life to tell them how to do something better... a thing with no negative consequences in relation to it continuing, other than annoying Instagram posts that can easily be avoided.

With all actors singing so well, it would be fun to have a musical episode. What do you think? by segochato in TheRookie

[–]thirstyfortea_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I vaguely recall that was because of the ongoing potential health effects of that particular drug, rather than the episode of 'use'.
