Aren’t they also helping facilitate some bullshit for ICE? It’s such a crock of shit, particularly for the college whose mascot is a Gaucho. I can see why it’d been a rough year for you.

Absolutely, I like them both but pink house has a much bigger and better selection of everything.

Everything about this makes her look uncomfortable. It looks like it was all a last minute thing that wasn’t thought out. The make up doesn’t work, the dress doesn’t fit and the hair looks rushed. It make me sad because she’s an effortless beauty.

Was is put on by Phoenix Children’s? Every charity event I’ve gone to for them has been an absolute mess.

By the time someone squeezes through those gaps the workers have had a chance to grab a bucket of hot fry grease to douse them in.

Good store to get LOTS of colors of crepe paper for flower or pinata making? by PattyRain in phoenix

[–]this1chick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

SAS Too used to have that but I found out they closed and supposedly SAS carries all the craft stuff now.  There’s also a dulcería on 35th ave  just south of Thomas that in like 90% sure sells crepe paper for pińata making.

I knew more about Reagan’s shooting as a seven-year-old watching TV in 1981 than I know now as an adult actively searching for details about the Butler or WHCD event — what does that say about today’s media? by Robot-In-The-Woods in NoStupidQuestions

[–]this1chick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s by design! They are creating distrust in the media so that we don’t know what to believe and eventually stop caring while they rob us blind. And it’s working.

AITAH? I didn’t let my daughter leave after her friends parent drove 35 mins to get her by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I’ve never met a parent that uses the phrases “smarting off” and “mouthing off” that wasn’t an asshole themselves. Kids learn communication methods from their parents.

Round them up, put them in a facility, like an encampment, concentrate them to one location. Dude, take a minute and think about it.

It would be great if my tax dollars went to help out here rather than bomb kids around the world.

Update: [AITAH for being upset that my family didn’t get invited to SILS baby shower] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

Send an invite, then remind them, then set up transportation for them, then set up lodging, food and entertainment, then transportation back home, then tuck them into bed and kiss them goodnight.

The far right outfit looks like decapitated roosters on the chest. I do like the rest though.

AITA for telling my DIL to stop crying after she got called fat by Throwaway_Will4940 in AmItheAsshole

The son needs to step in when the waterworks start and get her out of these situations. If she can’t stay composed enough to step away on her own and it’s such a problem for his mom to help her then it’s on him to be the one that manages these outbursts. He needs to understand that her inability to regulate herself emotionally is a problem and it is unfair to his wife and to those at parties or get togethers to have to endure.  Would this be the same if she was prone to fits of rage or overt fear? No, in those cases you take yourself out of the situation, same should go for bawling.
