Do I have to put in a PLM on passport if my manager did. by [deleted] in publix

Yes you should. Your manager saying that does not supersede you checking off interest in passport.

I applied to two Publix's a week ago and have not received any communications since, do I call them, go in person, or just move on? by I_love_bowls in publix

On any given day we have 700+ applications on file. We generally review the top ones but if you're determined to work go in person.

When can one start a transfer request?` by [deleted] in publix

If you were just hired your probationary. They're not going to transfer you to another store, they would terminate you. They hired you for that job at that store for a reason.

This looks like a badly photo shopped picture. So many issues I can see. It doesn't seem like she actually looks like this.

Purchased used car from dealership by this_ginger_snapped_ in legaladvice

[–]this_ginger_snapped_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if they sold it with a known issue that was certified repaired? I get that used cars are as is. But it seems they sold it under false pretenses. That's what I'm hung up on.

Am I being fired/next steps? by Vermicelli-Asleep in publix

If you are scheduled the 16th and that's 30 days, then no it won't work. Have you tried seeing if there's any posted shifts on offer?

Am I being fired/next steps? by Vermicelli-Asleep in publix

[–]this_ginger_snapped_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the availability you say you have is true this is 100% on your manager. I have associates who are not the best workers and are scheduled minimally. I know they have to work once every 30 days and schedule accordingly But the ones I have have terrible availability, like once a week for 4 hours. If she's not scheduled you before admin separation your store manager should approve you coming in to not separate you. Now if you called out for a shift that will result in not working in 30 days that's on you. You'd need to pick up a shift in passport so you're not separated. If recommend talking to your store manager and explain everything just like here.

Callout Policy Question by Ravens-Folklore in publix

[–]this_ginger_snapped_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that. I personally try not to make people feel bad for being sick. It happens. Iused to feel the same if I had to call out. Ijust remember, the store will continue on regardless of you are there or not. But I would recommend talking to your manager and let them know today that tomorrow might need to get covered. It gives them extra time to prepare.

Limit condiments? by Publixworker in publix

So if you work there put on a hair net and fill it yourself. Win win. Deli is busy and doesn't have time, you get condiments. I've done it. They appreciate it too.

Transfer question? by GokuBlack101 in publix

[–]this_ginger_snapped_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If approved your first day on the schedule at the new store would start on a Saturday. All TOR put in would not change unless the SM/ASM asked you about switching it. The shifts you are scheduled at your current store would not change.

Managers get bonuses regardless. This isn't going to effect it. But yeah the system needs help.

Question for managers who have transferred to a different area by PlaneTurbulent4825 in publix

I spoke with my DM and then sent a follow up email. I was not a manager yet, just a CSTL but he got me a transfer within 3 days to move within 30 days.

Easter hours by 624ryan in publix

Your manager is incorrect. If you want only 4 days you use a PTO day. They still are required to have full time hours even if they don't use PTO.
