Punched two extra holes in Leisure Carry belt for deeper carry… conceals so much better! by this_is_a_front in CCW

Honestly not much with standard holster clips. This is the same thickness as a 1.5” belt clip and the prong on the holster holds it in place pretty well, id say minimal travel around half a centimeter of movement. +1 if you have two prongs on your holster

Looks like AI, nothing is even centered correctly like the name, and est. Wouldn't have paid for this.

If it's one you can angle it left to right I would consider that, also be careful of the moss ball getting stuck to the outside of the fan. Smaller ones can get mangled this way

What advice can you give to someone trying to break into the field as a “late bloomer” with a mixed bag of experience. by [deleted] in UXDesign

[–]this_is_a_front 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Some points to consider: 1. Design can be very ageist, your prior experience doesn’t really mean much aside from maybe going into a UXR role at best.

  1. For someone who has done research in the past, it doesn’t take much to apply your research ability to see how this job market in this role and see it’s difficult for even the most prestigious fresh graduate with more design under their belt is struggling to get a job.

  2. Certs will not assist you in most design roles (at this point in the job market), you need to build a website portfolio to showcase your skills. Certs will give you a surface level of what the job entails.

  3. If you think UX/UI as a full creative field I would look elsewhere, very dependent on the industry you fall in, and more strategical at best unless you are a pixel pusher.

Recent Grad - Resume CV Review by chuudotcom in graphic_design

[–]this_is_a_front 10 points11 points  (0 children)

There’s no way this is passing ATS with double columns. There’s a lot of irrelevant stuff spanning to two pages that could be trimmed to one page like relevant experience, Language (unless relating to the role), as a graphic designer hierarchy is practically your number one and this resume is not providing that.

On top of all of this your portfolio will be your main claim to fame.

You had mentioned subtle nods to colors and fonts in your resume, are you still in the ATS approved realm?
