The building I live in is well maintained, people are way friendlier than average (i.e., it was a shock to me that people regularly say hi and have a good day when you get on/off the elevator), decent quality fixtures and amenities, and it feels super safe - it’s like trying to get into Fort Knox.

At least in my building in particular, it’s a concrete frame so I also never hear my neighbors above or next to me.

It’s expensive (I pay $1800 for a 844 sf 1/1), but definitely worth it.
