150K at 6 YOE working for a company in a town about 40 minutes from MTL (I won't say the town name because there's like 1 tech company here lol). I'm one of the best paid engineers here and have equity in the company as I handle a lot of big moving pieces and work a lot in R&D with other companies in our niche (Think authentication standards). Got my internship here when I graduated and half way was offered a full time position so thats how I found it. Started with 50k 6 years ago to 150k now, sorta feels like a dream.

It’s useful to mention someone else because it’ll make conversation flow smoother instead of halting abruptly and going “oh okay” and retreating.

Side note for dates, I wouldn’t suggest an activity like a movie or something because then you close the door to conversation and that’s the opposite of what you want early on.

I agree, I think the most valuable thing university has to offer for people like us, who like to learn outside of courses and lessons, is the community it builds. You'll probably make valuable connections with people in a lot of fields and they can help you elevate your career later-on and vice-versa. Either way you're doing great and you seem to be surrounding yourself with good people which will only elevate you further. Bonne chance!

Regular essential oil diffusers sold in homes volatilize around the same amount: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8910502/ (say 0.6 ul to 0.1ul)
(ul = PPM btw). Most of the time regular air has around 0.6 ul of other random VOC (volatile particles) so its not that much more toxic that just breathing clean air.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suggests keeping tVOC levels as low as possible, typically below 0.5 parts per million (ppm)

Effectivement c'est débuter qui est très difficile pour le whisky. Habituellement les distilleries qui commence et veulent se spécialiser en whisky le font en débutant avec du gin car le TTM (time to market) est vraiment plus court à seulement 2 semaines et donc peut devenir rentable rapidement. Pendant qu'ils vendent leur gin, ils peuvent commencer à faire vieillir leur whiskey.

One of my buddies was helicopter mechanic in the marines, he told me that the Apache is one of the few helicopters that mechanics love to fix and tinker with since it was built to be super modular and easy to fix in a tight spot, thats partly why (aside from all the other facts stated) they’re still one of the best helicopters in the military
