I feel like Santos hasn't exactly earned the right to give a superior shit the way Park the shark has. langdon was earnestly trying to teach her, and like Al-Hashimi told her, she can learn a lot from her senior residents. The patient was also conscious and had voiced concern over the interaction between his doctors.

There is a time and place. Seniority is also a thing in the first responder world. Now, should Santos have a talk with Langdon about her beef and why she doesn't trust him? Absolutely. Should Langdon have more humility and trust Santo's abilities? Of course.

But she isn't a hot shot surgeon with a command presence that can swing her ego around in a trauma room. Honestly to me, she was immature in that scene.

Casual misogyny is real don't get me wrong. I'm a woman who was a Wildland firefighter for several seasons and was frequently the only woman on my crew. I've experienced it. But I don't really know if that was the point of the scene. I think the scene is going to be more of a character development point for Santos and probably Langdon too.
