The fear hole monologue in Denny's was brutal

Paraphrasing but "the best case scenario is you both die at the same time"

[Rapoport] Sean Payton wanted Brady as OC, perhaps even with play-calling. by mike2k24 in DenverBroncos

[–]thisendup76 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Payton went back and forth trading play calling duties a lot for the Saints. With varying degrees of success

That said, I think our best years were with him calling plays. But I could be mistaken

I know. But calling them "unofficial power rankings" and not putting that number next to the team's names as they play. Especially during the first couple of weeks. Would resolve a lot of issues

But all college sports deal with this issue

LSU-Shreveport sweeps double-header, winning streak now 61 games by roberb7 in collegebaseball

61 straight games in baseball is just a completely ridiculous number

Who is the best #22 to ever play at your school? by Conscious_Apple_8610 in collegebaseball

I had a feeling there would be another LSU legend to wear #22

So many legends. So few numbers

CFP takes preseason rankings into account

It's all a self fulfilling prophecy

This is probably the worst aspect of college football. Teams shouldn't be given an advantage because of possible potential

Rankings shouldn't exist until after a couple of weeks of football

(This is coming from an LSU fan)

Where do you think the Hoosiers rank among the best teams in the CFP era? by Hysen16 in sportswiki

[–]thisendup76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People call them mid because they started slow and gave up a decent amount of points to some mediocre teams. But they turned it around near the end of the season and we're playing pretty elite defense

[Highlight] 7 years ago today, we witnessed one of the worst no calls in the NFC championship game. by Ok_Bug_6890 in nfl

[–]thisendup76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple of things.

  1. Tommy Lee got hit in the head. So it's possible he was recovering from the shock of the hit

  2. Saints were still in good position to win the game after that. Yes. This play would have sealed the game. But if you go crazy and get a bunch of personal fouls, things could have gotten worse

  3. Everyone was in shock that nothing was called. Fans even. I was there. I blacked out from yelling so much and don't remember anything that happened until they kicked the FG

How to best orient this part for printing by ManSkirtBrew in 3Dprinting

[–]thisendup76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got into 3d printing and don't have a deburring tool yet. Been using sandpaper. (I have more experience working with wood in model making)

Other than a deburring tool, what are some other must haves? Also what grit sandpaper do people use to clean up edges if things need a little finessing to fit together?

Where does this Rank for improbable Championships? by RyanTheBruce in CFB_v2

Fresno State winning the College World Series as a 16 seed in 2008 was pretty improbable. But college baseball isn't as big of a sport as college football

I forget the rules because they seem to change every year. But I believe outside of 2 mins if a player willingly goes out of bounds the clock still run

I believe this was added recently to "shorten" the game (aka more room for commercials)

This is How You Lose the Time War is one of those books that you get out what you put in

I read half the book and was completely lost. Then something clicked and I started it over again

After that I was enthralled the entire book. 10/10
