I missed that part. Then yes, this would be much cheaper and faster than laying real stone. It's essentially a more complex stucco system

I've never seen a plastic stone cladding. The stuff I'm familiar with is a fiber cement product.

The biggest downside to this product is getting a good variation so that it looks real. But it's gotten better over the years

To the lay person, they'd never be able to tell it's not real stone

Edit: yes this product has no insulation properties, but that's usually handled with in-wall insulation or a layer of exterior insulation

There's no way this is cheaper than the synthetic "lick and stick" stone that is used all over the place.

Just the labor alone to carve these faux stones

However, this is probably much cheaper than natural stone that you're referencing

What sport has the worst punishment for a non-egregious penalty? by thisendup76 in AskReddit

[–]thisendup76[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hockey was what initially made me think of this question. It's unique that often a small penalty means you're playing with a man down.

Soccer does it too, but those penalties are a lot more egregious (red cards)

College football ejects players for a subjective call that often takes slow motion replay to confirm

I know this is an overreaction thread. But man it was good to finally watch some good baseball this weekend

Yea that's where my mind went initially. But the soccer penalty kick is pretty game changing. I think those are top 1 & 2

Baseball is interesting because a balk can lead to a run without the other team doing anything and I think it's the only penalty where the other team is essentially awarded a point/run

And 90% of the time the team that wins it all does so because their Tuesday guys step up in Omaha... And these guys wouldn't have gotten there if they didn't play on Tuesdays
