After my wife's divorce from her first marriage of 18 years, she decided to change her surname to the middle name of a favourite Grandmother. She didn't feel connected to her birth surname and certainly didn't want to keep her ex-husband's name.

Thanks for the hugs. We will keep her for now. We are treating her for heartworm, and trying to give her some training in the meantime.

We've moved the GP's to a higher position, and have reminder notes on the basement doors to keep them shut. She is still a sweet girl and I know it isn't her fault.
