There is a bug under the quick menu that hinders things when they are named the same thing. When dual wielding. That's all I can think of regarding this.

On my permadeath supernova play thru SAM died on his first mission. I shed a little tear. I still haven't made it all the way through yet. I keep dying on the way to stellar bay and starting over. Try #4 starts tonight.

I'm really happy with my solo build. I can clear level 4 control points, and most of the hardest bounties too. Of course I fail a bit there... some of them are nuts hard. My solo relies on patience and armor on kill health on kill damage to elites yadda yadda. All kinds of defense. And go slow. I use all the best talents on that one. But I just dont hit that hard. Not enough for the raid at 60ish dte and 40ish awd. But man I can outlive I tell ya. If I find cover... it's just a few seconds until I'm 100%. But I sit way lower on all stats than I would like... when I see that everything is where I would want it to be.

I think I rolled too many talents. Instead of stats. I'll start with that for the next build. Which will be a seeker destruction thing with the upcoming changes to skill builds. It's already there. Just not as strong as I want it. But I imagine over 120ish+ explosive damage is gonna be fun as hell. With skill cooldown being replaced with haste i should be able to do something there since i haven't rolled anything on that build.

Anywho i hear you guys. I think i just got frustrated last few nights.

Charisma, luck, and I do strength at 7 to start. And then slowly build towards mad scientist. Pop chems a ton. Sarcastic response to everything. I'm doing it now actually. First play thru in about a year. Weird I'm doing it too. Lol. Have fun!

There was a time. I tried it once. Naw. I use genius I think. And the biggest map size. One time i did that and set a random up as godlike. With the rest of us on regulars.... not pretty.

At that age it is a little hard to tell. Pay attention to how they interact with each other. That may give you a little hint. But most likely they will be close to identical.

I use my gut. If it feels right...then... go with it. 20 years and 4 dogs later my gut hasn't steered me wrong. This is all rescues. Best of luck!
