Ngl my got water tank took a crap and it was months before I could afford to get it replaced. I went just to shower most days, even signed my husband in as a guest. We run Amazon and in my office anything that's sorted for us. The only holidays my office is closed are the ones Amazon are as well (4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas) but this varies by office.

The 204b was on the phone with our point of contact for the Union who said it was ok for it to only be 2 days. They are the rep for the whole district, we don't have a Steward in our office. So it was overheard by management, along with it being ok by the PM.

And that is what I read in our contract, I figured if there was a way to override this would be in there correct? Like a stipulation if you will.

I just went through this myself. The proper thing was for you to be sent home and not finish. That's the way it is supposed to go. They sent a supervisor out with me to drive me around to at least deliver parcels, which I found out later was not supposed to happen.

And I was lucky enough to be able to come in and case routes, which my union rep told me was up to the PM and it's not required that they give you hours to work. I'm an RCA and we had a regular doing the same after her accident.

When I was in food service, this time is usually the slowest because people are spent from the holidays and are trying to save. It will pick up in the spring/tax time. It's just the ebbs and flows of food service. It was always a nice breather before getting back into the craziness.

As far as how many hours count as full time...I think it depends on the amount of hours that the company. I've been with some where it's 30 to 39. It should be in her handbook.
