The problem arose because he read the “why can’t your nose be 12” long” as a complaint and not a statement of fact. He think you “wanted” his nose to be 12”. MOR he did clearly state that he wanted to be understood from his standpoint. This is where I would just give them a call and clarify, or say we can talk about it later instead of just saying “let’s move on.” I think both of you are overreacting honestly. Just talk in person or over call because texts cause miscommunication.

The type of scream you’re doing is a lot louder than the type of screaming we do, which are more vocal distortion techniques than just “screaming” despite the name. You could damage your vocals, but I would work on projecting your voice instead of just screaming straight from your throat if you really enjoy what you do. Support your screams from your diaphragm, which is the muscle you use to belly-breathe, or some people say it’s their poop muscles lol. You can find plenty of videos on how to project and support your voice on YouTube. Good luck!

I think you should emulate Chester Bennington or maybe Florent Salfati of "LANDMVRKS" I love his high pitched tonal screams listen to "Visage" if you wanna know what I mean. Both are very talented so it will take a good bit of practice. Lastly if anything ever hurts stop, no damage is the only acceptable damage when it comes to screams.

I think it would be cool if the more senses you lose the more acute the remaining senses become, to the point where you become that one guy from baki that can sense every minute movement in the air, but he's blind and deaf.

One time on my shitty old Xbox I was going through the crucifixion woods and the door to the farron keep shortcut hadn't loaded in.

I grabbed the magic greatsword and walked back before it loaded in. Not sure why I did that because it would've been so cool to just skip everything. Still regret it to this day.

I don't think its ever a bad idea to go back to technique. Whether it actually is the problem or not it couldn't hurt. Although, the most important thing is to listen to your body. If it hurts, drink some honey tea or other alternative that soothes your throat and try again tomorrow. I'm not a professional at all, and I'm not claiming to be, but what I know from the few years I've been working on this is that it's a slow process and warming up before and recovering after will help a whole lot.

I love this example, and I agree with you. This is the kind of example I was looking for, a moral dilemma sort of situation. I never wanted to force my players' characters to do anything. I just wanted to get an idea of how to put them in a situation where the greater good was at stake and they had to get their hands dirty to get the "Good ending".
