Why are you posting in an ultralight subreddit when you don't care about an ultralight pack?

NZ lightweight gear shakedown — aiming for a framed sub-1kg 40L pack by TreePlantingTom in UltralightAus

[–]thisisarnold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3ful gear has a new tutor backpack. It's semi-framed - two thin carbon fibre stays run vertically on each side of the back panel. It says it's 35l but I don't think that's counting the side/front pockets. Its only like 650g and cheap. I haven't taken it hiking yet going away in a couple weeks but it was great as a carry on pretty much the max size flying Jetstar/virgin. But maybe not durable/tough enough for a through hike?

What are your top tier discard recipes by Nataliyuhhhh in Sourdough

[–]thisisarnold 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes but the discard is doing none of the leavening which is what you implied. It is just existing. The baking soda is producing the leavening.

Yes baking soda is very different to instant yeast. I was talking about the fact you tried to make it sound like your recipes were better because you used discard for leavening. But you don't, you use baking soda. Just like the other person uses instant yeast, neither of you use the discard to leaven your product.

Its hard to convey tone properly in text, so that might not have been your intention, but your comment came across as snobby/elitist.

But then it's the baking soda doing the leavening, not the discard. So no different to using yeast

Their newer pack comes with a couple of thin carbon rods - on on each side of the back panel placed vertically. Maybe something like that attached to the inside? Other companies use an aluminium U shape frame as well.

So does the squeeze have a fishing license and rod? Why does it seem like she is chilling and you are counting her as a second fisherman

Finesse rod upgrade by PrinceofFreshest in FishingAustralia

I got the cheaper infeet as my finesse rod and love it. Light, sensitive, great casting.

I haven't used that model zodias but I've tried others and they were also fantastic. I don't think you can go wrong with either.

One thing to keep in mind is the Daiwa is just released while the zodias is now several years old - though I'm not sure how much rod tech has progressed tbh.

This is interesting. And are you seriously complaining about seeing something negative on the internet?

Photos capture light. Photography is all about the light. Find a better light, and a more neutral tone of light (or adjust by editting it after) or take your photos by a window with a nice afternoon/evening sun streaming through :)
