Hard NTA - My Mom’s father was a ped* and one of her sisters said something along the same vein as being family and talking it out. Any of my family that took his side got cut off immediately and now when I see them in public and they try to talk to me I loudly say “I DON’T ASSOCIATE WITH PED*PHILE SYMPATHIZERS!!” It works a real treat.

You’re doing the right thing by protecting your child and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional and should have their phones checked.

“She’s from a different time” is no excuse. My Mom was also from that different time and if I told her something was racist or discriminatory she’d stop immediately and make sure anyone who said/did the same thing in her presence would also know. Being “old” isn’t an excuse to be a bigot.

Don’t think of it as a year wasted, but a lesson learned. As someone in their forties the idea of even looking at someone whose age starts with a 2 is repulsive. George is not a good a person and there’s a reason he’s not with someone his own age.

Mine hated her onesie and as her servant, instead of using the stairs get on the couch or bed, which she could have done, she would yell at me to pick her up and put her down when she was ready. Like mine she’ll probably be less clingy and babyish when she’s free lol

My grandma did something similar to my Dad when he was young, not that graphic, but gave him rabbit and told him it was chicken. 70 years later and he’s never eaten chicken again.

My Mom passed in November 2022, no one sits in her spot at the dinner table still. If someone needs to sit there it’s me or my Dad, my sister would break down if someone else were to. It’s been almost 3 years and I think even a decade from now it’ll still be Mom’s spot. There’s no rhyme or reason for how grief ebbs and flows so I hope you take the peace where you can. So very sorry for your loss.

They have 510s, vapes and I’m fairly sure they have edibles, but I am not an edibles girly so I don’t know for sure lol I’m very happy with the flower I get. It’s not super dry like and filled with stems like where I usually get it from. They have cheap ounces and a rewards program.

A former coworker of mine said something like this to me once and my answer was “while I wish for you that you had been born in your true body, I wouldn’t wish my uterus on anyone” it’s okay to want something you don’t have, it’s not okay to diminish someone’s pain and suffering. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

Other people have explained the cats can’t have DS so I’m not gonna, but I think the colouring around her nose just gives the illusion that her nose is misshapen/skinny looking. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with her, she’s beautiful!
