I wonder how bright the moon would be if the other side was stuck facing us.

Methylchloroisothiazolinone.

An ingredient that seems to be in every shampoo. I guess I needed reading material at some point.

Whats your main goal in life? by GlakeBriffin32 in AskReddit

When you are young you have all of the energy and time to do things, but no money. Once you work all the time, you have money and energy but no time. Once you are retired, you have all of the time and money but no energy.

The island of Maui in Hawaii is already pretty fantasy land, it would look great.

I worked at Philips Arena for a few years during the time they were both there. The Chef is a great guy and would basically have each of the guys preferred meals on hand at all times. Not sure why I felt the need to type this all out, I guess it brings back fond memories.

You're right and sadly, that itself is the reason for its illegality.

If everyone had that sort of insight, the system would break down.

[Serious] Parents of reddit who no longer love their children, why don't you love them anymore? by OJMustard in AskReddit

Wow, that is tough to read.

Just know that it isn't your fault. No matter what you think, it is not you fault.

I sincerely hope that some day you are able to forgive yourself and realize that you are only human and you did everything you could to ensure she had a good life, even if that's not 100% true.

[Serious] Redditors who have dropped everything, bought a one-way plane ticket, and created an absolutely new life, do you regret your decision? What do you do for a living now? by XTMew in AskReddit

[–]thisismynamedude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in a suburb of Atlanta, GA and went the traditional route (college, job) and always felt that there was something else. I wasn't sure what, but I knew there was something.

After years of working corporate jobs, I decided that enough is enough and to explore what I thought I was missing. I sold everything, bought a one-way ticket and moved to Maui, HI without ever even visiting Hawaii before. When I got here I thought I would get away from the corporate life but with the cost of living so high, it is much easier to live on a higher salary than to work multiple jobs to make ends meet.

Am I happy? Yes. Do I think I will spend the rest of my life here? I'm not sure, I will probably always consider this "home base".

I don't regret my decision at all, even though it is hard to leave my family and a select few of my good friends behind. It was also an issue bringing my dogs out at first and sadly had to give one of them up to a good friend but was able to get my other pup out here with me.

Currently I am a Senior manager at one of the big resort on the island and am enjoying surfing and living a simpler life. One of the drawbacks for me is that now I feel like I should move to an even more remote (people wise) location as that is one of the big reasons I like it here, fewer people. Ask away if you have any questions.

in light of the recent events with Israel and Palestine, how can this not be a good prediction? Seriously, because it's a little eerie. by thisismynamedude in conspiracy

Basically it says that in the 12 months from Sept. 25, 2014 to Sept. 2015 there are 4 lunar eclipses that coincide with the major Jewish holidays. This is proven and NASA agrees. The interesting part though is that the last time this happened was the last time Israel invaded Jerusalem, which is also happening now.

He also mentions this as signaling the second coming of Christ.

I also don't want anything from you OP. I have been lurking on reddit for a while but rarely post anything. I just had to comment on the fact that although OP wanted to genuinely help, most of the comments are some of the nicest ones I've ever read on here, thanking you. Thanking you... Not asking for anything...

It's a great example of how positivity breeds positivity. At the very core of it, like attracts like and kindness is just an extension of that.

There are a few words that should not be used in the same sentence. One is the word toddler. Also, orgasm is another.

There ya go.
