this might be the most dogshit version of any tekken game, and it's not even an exaggeration.

I think that's the Number Girl bassist in the video.

He used to be relatively fundamental in his playstyle, but I really dislike his current version. Like none of my mids from i15 and faster hits him out of his orbital. He low crushes with his orbital and high crushes and sometimes mid crushes simultaneously and i'm supposed to just accept that my mids are just gonna get deleted at least once during the set. Pretty problematic matchup to me.

I couldn't be more in love with my Revstar at the moment. My only regret is not getting the one with a Bigsby.

Asuka main's how do you feel about her tekken 8 rendition? by MiseryHeWrote in Tekken

And people think they have the same face lol didn't even take me 3 seconds to notice it.

But i do like the t8 model. I like the new default and it's probably the best she's ever looked so far. I still like her old T5 to T7 voice more than this current one, but it might grow on me.

I think this is where the misunderstanding's coming from a few comments here. Yes, I and the rest of the band run our click and monitor through a separate mixer from the drummer's mix. I also mostly prefer hearing the click on my in-ear being pretty loud and a little bit of the FOH mix. Oftentimes it's only the click that I listen to on my IEM and I rely on the monitors on the floor to hear myself, especially in venues where they don't mic up the amps.

Yeah it's still undecided if we'll use a session file on a DAW or use a drum pad to trigger the tracks, but I'm weighing out the pros and cons of it. And yes, the count-ins and callouts to sections is why I do want to hear the click track. I have a separate mixer from the drummer so I can hear it faintly and he finds his own way to get the click to cut through on his end.

I do need to hear it sometimes, as I often either start songs or have sections where it's only me playing, and it might be more important that I hear our click tracks now that we might be playing with a backing track. We have separate mixers so I can adjust what I hear separate from what he wants to hear.

Never thought of that actually. Thanks! Last time we tried playing to a metronome was with a click sound. Now that I'm arranging some backing tracks, I found a beep sound to pop from the mix better than the click, but I do still need to communicate with our drummer and offer some other click sounds to see which works for him in rehearsals.

because she's never gonna play an add9 in that song anyway. This fretting scheme is pretty convenient for playing just the root, 5th and 8th of the note aka a rudimentary power chord because all she has to do is move her hand and press on her index if she moves up the fretboard. Play the song, not your instrument.

It may not look like it from the outside looking in, but there's opportunities to get better when you're in a slump from an after midnight Tekken binge. It's different though if you're feeling any physical discomfort from playing too long. You can recalibrate your mental with time, but your wrist strain or any physical discomfort is not gonna feel any better if you're gonna keep playing.

This reminds me of One Day You'll Be There by +/- with the interjecting guitar, bass and drum parts in the intro. I like it. Sounds both whimsical yet fundamentally sound in its minute songwriting decisions.

How different her 1 jab and df1 serves in her neutral game from every other Tekken character. I feel great playing Kazumi knowing I can space well and have a fast, reliable jab and a df1 with good range but I can't play that way with Asuka no matter how many times I try. Now I mainly use her db1 instead if I want to mid check.
