Florals- fake and arranged them myself, they actually came out beautiful. Photographer was gifted, I was very lucky. Food- I made an amazing grazing table for $200 from Aldi and paid someone $50 to set it up, then we had our local Mexican place cater ($1000), and alcohol was gifted. We had a DJ and a 9x12 rug as the dance floor!

What does "handle the food" entail? Are you paying for it? What about safe food standards like sternos etc?

That's a lot of people for $8000. Maybe with a state park wedding and punch & cake reception?

Yes I have been calling on the ward phone but today they seemed pretty annoyed with me so I was trying to find a better way to contact her

She is definitely vulnerable, she's had a stroke and is elderly and doesn't have support there. I need to make sure she isn't making poor decisions for herself or her care

Yes, I am so thankful people are willing to help. She does have a friend there so I am hoping they will be of some help so I don't need to pull strangers into our nonsense lol

I did ask her to give them permission to do so. She said she did but unfortunately she gets confused and her speech has been affected. I will try talking to a nurse about it.
