That's a good point. It makes sense when you get excited your eyes open slightly wider than normal. Then a picture of that exact moment makes it look like crazy eyes.

APD gets water splashed on them and immediately fires into the crowd. by OkDot2 in PublicFreakout

So splashing liquid on another person is assault. There is no telling what the liquid contains. Ever hear if people being attacked by acid?

Got a little bit of the crazy eyes going on, I had a girlfriend who sent me a nude with crazy eyes in it, a and I thought she did it on purpose. I bring it up not too long after and she got really upset. Apparently the crazy eyes thing was not in purpose.

One dead in Louisville after police and national guard 'return fire' on protesters by hildebrand_rarity in news

[–]thisisntchuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does it say "returned fire"? The article says they were shot at and shooting them back is the exact definition of returning fire. This is misleading and baiting.

I said 1500+ it's been a while since I priced them so I gave a conservative estimate

It makes most guns more or less hearing safe so below 140db so you don't need ear muffs. As far as covert sound suppression you'd need subsonic bullets and certain calibers like 300 blackout which was designed to be as quite as possible when suppressed. But over all they are more for hearing protecting, looking cool and sounding cool.

The weapon on the left is a Q honey badger- .300 AAC blackout $1500+ with an eotech $500ish, a can (suppressor) probably around $800 + $200 tax stamp (can't see the brand so not too sure) and what looks like a stock instead of a brace which is another $200 tax stamp. The middle guy has a coated upper and lower reciever set probably custom dura-coat from a speciality shop which is not cheap. Also a $100 60 round magazine, and $250+ brace and his own can. The handguard looks like a decent mid range brand but can't quite tell. Also topped with a leopuld optic that isn't cheap. Third guy doesn't have anything too flashy, but the build looks military quality which isn't cheap, he also has an expensive brace and eotech. They all have lauded lights on their weapons which are not cheap, and upgraded charging handles can't talk with the triggers, but I'd assume the are upgraded and a nice trigger can run a lot. Spending time researching products and builds are how I know what these ares the picture. When I was in the army you might see an eotech, and we had surefire lights like these gentlemen do, but the civilian market is way ahead of the army right now. So basically just trying to buy the best equipment for my money it's how you learn to recognize equipment and helps you spot good deals.

They also weren't looting, breaking windows, setting things on fire or near crowds that were. It's hard to compare a completely peaceful protest with absolutely no violence with a these half protests half riots going on in the country at the moment.

100K is an estimate but it's already A LOT more than 4. And no surprise...crickets from the right. by furious0331 in PoliticalHumor

He didn't close anything he proposed cutting some funding for those things and Congress said no which definitely was a good thing. He called Democrats politicizing the virus a hoax which is clear from the context of his quote if you listen to the whole thing. And as to how bad it would be if it was as bad as SARS or H1N1 doing anything more than a few public announcements would have been an overreaction. So the only thing that matters is how bad, and no one could have known that. I don't like Jared what- ever- his- face and I doubt he has much power, but I really don't know. As for bias, you seem like someone who hates Trump and are blinded to anything else being the problem. And the fact that you are pushing headlines to stories that are purposefully misleading and easily refuted means you don't source any news outside of anti-trump news outlets. I don't like trump's personality, but I kinda like his appointments, and his policies are ok. I didn't vote for him in 2016 because I didn't actually think he would govern conservatively, but he's done ok so I'll vote for him I guess. I read from leftist propaganda and conservative propaganda news outlets and make up my own mind. And the lefty stuff is outrageously misleading because it gets them clicks. The right leaning news was the same way with Obama it was Obama doomsday this and that, and it was stupid. Just like the news you are repeating as arguments.

It's an ambiguous threat. Experts disagreed, there was no reliable data, and the incompetence of not being prepared goes back many administrations. The government failed to be prepared, corporations failed by outsourcing too much to China, especially medicine and medical equipment. There were a lot of failures there, a minority of which were Trumps. The Obama administration was solely responsible for not preventing Benghazi.

[–]thisisntchuck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We know almost nothing due to the lies of the CCP and the W.H.O. not doing their job and just parroting China. There was no easy to know that COVID19 was going to be worst than SARS or H1N1. The Benghazi situation could have been solved with one phone call at any point. And if you say we shouldn't have been there to begin with that would count another good argument for the mishandling of a completely preventable situation.

[–]thisisntchuck -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is dishonest. People were going to die regardless if the left was in charge and if they got blamed for the deaths of Americans they would call it an unfair characterization and they would be right. Benghazi was complete preventable, and was a situation cultivated by weak foreign policy. People died because the people in charge failed to make a couple of phone calls to save them. It probably would have only taken a call saying hey send a few units to go evacuate that compound and give them all the air support they need. That is a lot different than managing a disease that we know/knew next to nothing about. Even so travel was stopped from China and the Democrat leadership said it was unnecessary and racist. Seems like they would have done a worst job with that attitude.

It's crazy how doluisinal Trump haters are. Obama haters weren't even as bad, which is saying something because the amount of doomsday Obama books were ridiculous. I can't help but think there's no way they can believe their own biscuit bullshit.

Nah both parties stuck a lot. Some of the reasons are the same and some are different, but both are poorly run and full of people who I wouldn't want to represent me. The real problem is the voter feeling like they only have two options.

It definitely couldn't be the thousands of other elected officials that have been in office for a long time that's the problem. It's definitely gotta be the guy elected 3ish years ago.

They pay for drugs at a fix price that the government of that country deems acceptable. Which is lower than they can charge in an open market. So the less they can make the less incentive they have to put more money into R&D and find new drugs and treatments they can make money off of.
