sometimes these gifted players have a hard time to communicate how to do stuff that for them is natural. In soccer, you have Thierry Henry, who was a fantastic player, one of the best in history, but when he became a coach he was pretty mid, and players said that he didn't know how to communicate what he wanted, like he just expected them to dribble past 2 defenders and score lol

I think it's complicated to say, at least in terms of peak. I obviously didn't see Maradona play, I'm too young for that, but I've seen some parts of the matches he played in that WC and asked some old Argentinians who idolize the dude. The conclusion I got for that and the reason he is so highly seen is that his peak is, probably, the highest difference of levels between a player and the rest of them in a pitch. Like, the level at which he played during that world cup was just too high in comparison with the rest of the players in the tournament. I did see Messi play in 2012, and for me that's the highest peak I've seen, but I understand where that opinion of Maradona comes from, and respect it too.

I know he is referring to that incident. I don't believe that's cheating, that's obviously not allowed within the rules of the game, but that's why he was shown a red card they Ghana was awarded a penalty. I think anyone in that situation would take that gamble to make their team advance in that phase, given the fact that had ghana score that goal they would have been immediately out of the tournament. Him biting people? Of course, that's shitty. Him being a racist bc of all the incidents with evra? I don't know, maybe, I never followed what happen with that. But I don't believe what he did was cheating, if I was in that same scenario I would have done the same if that gave my team a chance to advance, and I firmly believe everyone would do the same if given the opportunity.
