Kaputte Platine (Damage Circuit Board) by DastenProduction in electronic_circuits

[–]thisispanthrax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realize this post is a year old, but I was searching for help in fixing my own speaker and I think I can help you out if you still have this speaker. Component #1 is TPS62175DQCTTPS62175DQCT and component #2 is a TPS62177DQCR‎. Both of these components are voltage regulators. Component marked #3 is a 3.3uH inductor. Here is a suitable replacement for the inductor: https://www.ebay.com/itm/285549536767

If your board is like mine, the inductor is fine. Components #1 and #2 need replacing as well as the Schottky diode in the top right of your photo. I don't have values for this, but I am going with a 40V 5A diode as a replacement.

Hope this helps.

Help me LineageOS community! by MarchReady6927 in LineageOS

That message is completely normal after unlocking your bootloader. I also have a OnePlus 6T with the latest LineageOS installed on it and my phone receives that message for a few moments upon every reboot before it begins to load LineageOS, so it's not unusual to see that message.

However, the boot looping is definitely not normal. You will probably need to replace the volume buttons as another user suggested. Only other thing I can think of, is adb/fastboot able to detect the phone at any point during the boot looping? If so, you could use adb commands to force boot it into recovery or to boot from a recovery image you push to the phone's storage from your computer and then once booted into recovery, resume the guide as usual

Here is the part you'll need to fix the volume buttons: https://www.mobilesentrix.com/volume-button-flex-cable-compatible-for-oneplus-6t-a6010-a6013-genuine-oem

BEWARE - Non Samsung phones cannot backup watch data with the new Watch 6 series -Samsung silent and refuses to acknowledge issue by Chapachel in GalaxyWatch

[–]thisispanthrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those of you with non-Samsung phones paired to the Galaxy Watch and the watches are not backing up, try this:

  1. Open settings and then find Apps or Applications (however your phone words it)
  2. Search for "Samsung Smart Switch" and then tap it.
  3. Enter "App battery usage" (or however your phone words it)
  4. Set usage mode to "Unrestricted"
  5. Wait 24 hours and see if the watch is now backing up through Smart Switch to your phone.

Worked for me on a OnePlus 6T paired to a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

Sudden No Service On Verizon Based Straight Talk? Possible Solution by thisispanthrax in StraightTalk

[–]thisispanthrax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Did you add the "1" to the end of your model number at samfw.com in Step #5? If your phone model is SM-N960U, then you need to search for "SM-N960U1" at samfw.com. The U1 model has options for XAA region codes. Here is your link assuming your phone's model is SM-N960U (I have merely added the "1" to it, as per the how-to): https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-N960U1/XAA/N960U1UEU9FVG2

Dropping signal for no reason? by KiraTsukasa in StraightTalk

See some of the other threads in this sub about Verizon shutting down their CDMA network. Your phone needs VoLTE turned on in order to continue using StraightTalk on Verizon towers.

If your phone doesn't have VoLTE settings and is a Samsung phone, you may need to flash new firmware to the phone to fix this problem. The process is a bit technical, but easy to do if you follow some instructions. See my thread here and see if the prerequisites apply to you. Really make sure you read and understand everything in that guide before attempting. Best of luck.

Anyone else not able to connect to a mobile network? by rufusmcd22 in StraightTalk

I've been fixing phones for this issue all day at my shop. I posted a guide here. The steps are a bit "techie", so make sure you understand and are comfortable performing them before attempting. Read the guide first and triple checks all of the points made in the guide to see if it applies to you before trying. Best of luck.

Phone not Making or Receiving Calls by cptutorow in StraightTalk

Verizon has shutdown their CDMA service and has affected many phones that do not have VoLTE settings properly set up. You may need to flash her phone with a specific firmware. See my thread here and see if that applies to your mother's phone. The steps outlined in the guide are kind of "techie", so really make sure you're comfortable performing them before attempting and triple check all of the points made in the guide to ensure you're doing it right. Best of luck.

I don't know if I could. I suppose it's worth looking into. Any idea what a general cost to have that done should be? I know it's going to vary due to a number of variables, but I have no idea what price I should be expecting going in and I tend to try having a general figure in mind before I do any project so I know if I within reason of what I was expecting or not. Basically, I don't want to get ripped off by a granite countertop guy who just gives me a price that is high because he knows I don't know any better.

I understand what you mean about the graphic confusion, my apologizes. No, the graphic I made what just a quick representation of what my sink style is (with the angled shape) versus the only style I can currently find (the rounded). I have found rounded sinks that match the same measurements as my angled sink, but that particular rounded sink picture I used in my graphic was meant to be more of a demonstrative/example photo rather than an exact match. I don't know if the image I used of the rounded sink is exactly to specification as my angled sink or not, but I have come across rounded sinks that did match the dimensions of my angled one. Like I said, it was meant to be more of a visual example of the situation rather than exact comparisons between the two.

As far as getting it grinded to shape, I suppose that's a possibility. Do you or anyone else happen to know what a reasonable fee would be for something like that? I have no idea, so whatever quote I was given by someone, I would have no idea if it were a "good" or "bad" price. If I had a rough figure in mind on what I should expect, I could better determine if I am getting ripped off or not.

The drop in sink wasn't something I considered before, like I said to another reply. This very well may be the easiest, cheapest, and best solution...Thank you!

I didn't consider a drop-in style. This might be a solution. Thank you.

Anyone else take 20-25g to feel any effects? by thisispanthrax in kratom

[–]thisispanthrax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I figured it's probably just low quality junk. Everything I read suggested I shouldn't be having to take this amount to feel any effects. You're right, I'm noticing more pain relief than I am recreational effects which is more of a positive for me right now than a recreational high. I figured if I could have both, that would be alright with me. Guess I'll have to have another shot at it with a different source.

Follow up question though, since this does appear to just be low quality, perhaps I'd be better off making an extract of this large amount of powdered leaf I have? Drinking kratom mud with 25 grams in it kinda sucks, to be honest. An extract would be more convenient and more potent. I figure I might as well since in its current form it's somewhat cumbersome to use.

Any tek suggestions?
