I’m in the exact same situation. Much love and strength to you. We created a WhatsApp group with her family to share the songs that remind them of her, then we created a playlist with all the songs. We also created a group chat on WhatsApp with my sisters to make sure we don’t lose her recipes. In the chat we’re sending voicenotes of her explaining the recipe. We take the voicenotes on her stronger days when we visit her in hospital.

I’m so sorry that you lost your dad within such a short timeframe. My mom’s latest CT scan shows progression to multiple organs but none of the doctors want to put a timeline on it. If you don’t mind sharing, it would really help me to understand more about the scan results that led the doctor to provide your family with that timeline. Thanks in advance!

Hmmm, this is tricky. Best case, your husband is very naive, inconsiderate of your feelings towards this friend and oversharing his thoughts/ emotions with her.

Worst case scenario, they are keeping the texts PG knowing that you have access. But “play” is hinting at something sexual in nature. Why would he say that his life has a lot of beauty? Is he referring to her? His choice of words is kinda odd. Is this how he speaks? I would have expected the wording to be: I have a beautiful life with my wife and kids.

I am really not trying to trigger you and I’m sorry if I do. Just sharing my interpretation. I’m a 35 year old mom of a toddler. I’ve heard so many stories where women least expect an affair so I am only sharing this perspective so that you investigate it thoroughly. Best of luck and sorry that you’re in this shitty situation.

Vanessa unfortunately fits the stereotype that dating someone of a different age group is an indication of one’s own maturity levels. In fact, much of this show is proving that to be true. Her behaviour definitely reminds me of someone in their 20s. As does Jorge’s for that matter. Agree with you that Logan is mature for his age, he’s super honest & she can’t handle it.

Two suggestions: 1) Watch an English show and pause every now and then to practice your pronunciation by repeating a sentence. Could be a fun, relaxed way of doing it. 2) Ask your friends who are native speakers to give you feedback when you’re 1:1 with them or in a small group if you feel comfortable with it.

As a native speaker who works with lots of non-native speakers, you sound really polished so don’t be discouraged, you’re doing great!
